@@senseiwu7814 Nah, among fighting games, getting 3 patches in 2 months is not a thing, which is why i specified it. SF6 gets two patches in a year, Tekken 8 gets a bit more, but still nothing close to this. Of course they don’t have game breaking issues that would force them to do this, but still, i didn’t expect them to actually implement the vast majority of fixes that were mostly brought up by the community. That also very rarely happens. Fighting game devs usually just decide how they want to shape the meta and balance stuff based on that, very rarely on community feedback. I had fun with the game on release and i didn’t quit so it doesn’t matter to me, but the game could’ve retained a lot more players if it got released in this state instead.

Xenoverse 2 pvp is a ghost town on ranked playstation. The devs never fixed broly grabs, never nerved the op pvp moves such as handy cannon, backflip, jumpspike, instant rise. The last good nerf was to fake blast. The higher levels for CACs has made pvp worse since its a drag to level up, people who do level have a massive advantage over people who just play now and then. The latest DLCs have definitely made the lag worse and made it more difficult to get into matches even co op with raids.

Only manage to get matches via challenging people in the lobby or player matches nowadays on ranked you can go on quick play and not run into a single player after an hour of searching, there used to be way more players before sparkling zero. Glad i got to experience this game at its peak with thousands online a couple years ago, reaching rank 1 twice and winning a pvp title in a world championship. Don't play as much anymore just chill matches but ranked was better due to people not leaving now its almost dead. Xbox version is definitely better largely due to no cheaters using modded characters in pvp.

Facts, there SOOO many problems that Xenoverse 2 has and they just never fixed it. Take hit for example, if you were to use back breaker they didn't fix the issue we're if someone is behind him and you use back breaker on that said person. Although I see the faults in SZ but there actually listening despite XV2 that shoves DLC in our faces like a parent feeding a toddler in a high chair. Perfection has made no attempt in doing a in game comparison except tobriama whom he says he has a problem with universal combos. Playing both game's the only problem I have with SZ is 2 bar Z dash and the DP battle glitch.. also the fact everyone aims for some sort of cheese. Xenoverse 2 however You have to fight against lag, rage quitters that the game doesn't reward you if they quit a quintillion times, modders that are roaming around the playstation community. Cheese of course No attempt in helping newcomers level their character forcing them to give away their wallets or grind slowly. This can even encourage players to get mods that gives Inf tp and zeni but not everyone mods. DLC just re skins, bad plot( in my opinion), Only alive just because of DLC

@ the game ESF is still more fun than Sparking Zero, with faster movement, bigger ki blasts, a functional power level system where you have to fight to transform, and is far more balanced over all. Downside is that it’s pc only, no story mode at all, actually a fan made game and way less characters to choose from. But the lack of a lock on and the way flight and movement handle alone make it one of the best games to represent the franchise.

I think Xeno2 just feels considerably worse simply through merit of having been playing under better conditions. There's a term for that but I can't remember it. From day 1 and until now it has always been a dreadful experience offline or online to me. Hell, even Jump Force and the awful Dissidia on PC felt much better online than Xeno ever did and that's saying something.

No, it really doesn’t. The PvE was incredibly repetitive. Every story mode fight or PQ was exactly the same. There was barely anything that distinguished one PvE fight from another, if anything at all.
