The fact they specified “Tenkaichi game” rather than “Dragon Ball game” makes me lean towards newer characters like Android 21, etc. that have been in games just not Tenkaichi ones but I do think that crossover character could be a possibility.

The secret character is someone that HASENT been in a tenkaichi game. Ss4 gogeta was in all of them, even ultimate tenkaichi. Beast gohan would make sense, given the existence of the dlc. Also, the secret character would have to not include any transformations or be a part of any transformations. It’s just one slot

Has nothing to do with it, early unlock is one thing and the free character is a separate thing and theme. It has to be a stand alone character that has no transformation and has never appeared in a previous tenkaichi. It will most likely be Beelzebub.

Man, I don't like that Goku looks so thin and childish, they should be based more on the style of Dragon Ball Z, even in XenoVerse the characters look more muscular and it did give the feeling that they are powerful, impotent and more mature. Now that I remember Spike Chunsoft, apart from the Tenkaichi, they also developed the Raging Blast, they could take more for that style. The designs were very good and were not childish. Another issue on top of that is the speed of fighting..in bt series back then when you transformed you felt faster..for example ssj2 gohan and ssj3 goku moved like lightning..now they all do the same tik tik tik heavy hit combo rather than bullet speed attacks. Kind of lame but hey it’s what we got to work with

Yeah The DLC store 100% says the character is someone who has never been in a Tenkaichi game before. But I remember your boy said something about something crazy being a part of the game. So maybe just maybe a crossover character might be in the game. Shallot, Gibblet, Cumber from SDBH could appear or someone else from the xenoverse or SDBH universe. Now the Sandland main also has been in SDBH on the arcade and switch games. Low-Key Android 21 would be dope just cause she's a character who has multiple forms. Base. But I'm thinking if not her. It's definitely either Beezelbub, or Toribot. Though, I'm leaning more towards the former as despite it not being as popular as Dragon Ball, Sand Land was Akira Toriyama's penultimate work alongside Dragon Ball Daima. He's also more known among casual fans that have never read the Dragon Ball Manga. Tori Bot despite being around for decades is almost exclusively manga material. So, he's ultimately lesser known. And if they're not adding manga exclusive transformations (yet) I see Tori Bot running into the same problem.

I kinda think it’ll be Fu, I don’t think the 1 single character will be Mira or Towa because they’re like a duo, so if one is in the game then so will the other one. I don’t think it’ll be Supreme Kai of Time either because I assume more people would be interested in Fu than her. It can't be SS4 Gogeta because he was already in a previous tenkaichi. (He will come in base most likely, if not in GT DLC) It can't be Android 21 because if she gets added to the game she would need a minimum of 3 slots due to her transformations. If they add good 21 and lab coat thats 5 different slots. (She might be added by later on as DLC) It can't be Shallot because he has 5 transformation on top of base. (he goes SS1, 2, 3, God and Blue) (He might be added as DLC or even a freebie, years down the line) It can't be Arale because she was already in a previous tenkaichi. (She will most likely come in the DB DLC or future one) People say it might be Beast Gohan because he marks most of the checkmarks. He hasn't been in a previous tenkaichi. They would get a profit out of it because people would pre-order more to get him for free, instead of having to pay for him individually later on as DLC. This is the same thing Xenoverse 2 did with Goku Black. And the people would for sure still buy the DLC for the other characters. Normal DB fans don't only aim for the shiny and OP characters. The only thing that is odd is he has a base form and then the transformation and splitting them between pre order and DLC is weird. It being a transformation makes it less likely because they said it would be a stand alone or single character (slot). Beelzebub is actually the most likely one as he is truly the stand alone character they could add from Sand Land, has no transformations ( so it is a single slot), has never been in any tenkaichi, the other games have done collabs with him. And the movie would have already come out by the time Sparking releases. And he would also be a perfect way to do tribute to Toriyama.

Usually when games add a secret character or item as a preorder, it’s something that others with the game won’t be too upset about missing out on. For example: I know SSJ4 Gogeta isn’t gonna be in due to it being a character who wasn’t in BT before. But for this example, it wouldn’t be SS4 Gogeta because too many people who couldn’t pre-order would throw an absolute fit if they don’t have the option to purchase them like a normal DLC. It would have to be someone that those who didn’t pre-order would say “eh” to. Another thing to think about, for android 21, it wouldn’t be used for marketing to females…. Because it’s a secret character for pre-orders… so we won’t know who it is until the game comes out. So how could she be used to get people to pre-order if pre-order is already over by the time it’s revealed?
