Honestly the only thing the game needed was variety, releasing back when only Cell was playable was a major mistake, they should have waited till we got atleast 5-6 bosses and then release and get updates with new bosses from then on.

I'm very excited about this. I like the fact that in order to get the raider to Level 3 (Vegeta), you actually HAVE to work together with your team. Hopefully, this will make the game more fun and the raider isn't overpowered on release.

Idk how the Raider will force themselves to reach the later evolutions but yeah this looks like the devs are making the Vegeta raider into a true counter to overly aggressive survivors which is really cool cause that means the meta will finally change up so that survivors are more encouraged to run away than try to kill the raider

S2 was announced like... less than a month into launch. So they were locked into it regardless. Also the game has been getting consistent content updates throughout season 1 + balance patches and they're listening to player feedback to adjust survivors and raiders. I get matches for this game consistently with new people all the time. The game isn't bad or even all that unpopular, you and your favourite KZbinr just didn't like it.

It will have to be quite long to justify how far you can travel in such a short time. I can see it easily being 100s or 120s CD. The downside looks like you are locked in position until you decide where you want to go, in which the raider can still just attack you

While I am excited for this, I hope there will be better compensation for that awful delay. I also still wish that there was much better security to help stop the hackers, a report function in-game to help stop the teamers and cheaters and bots, and either crossplay or the gacha to be removed so that we can buy the skills with those silver zenis like we could with only a few of them. Of course these will never happen, but I can still wish. 😢
