One thing to note with UI, is that it is really good against Giant bosses, especially the apes, since you can dodge and counter their attacks, the charged ki blast destroys their super armor and the built in ki charge makes sure that you don't waste a move slot on Burst Charge.

I actually like The UI, You can counter while transforming, You gain the ability to dodge, counter after dodge, And with a 5 star QQ bang or Stamina and Ki regen, you can be literally untouchable. But I would have wished it to be like normal SSJ, you start with UI (sign) and then with extra ki bars you transform into MUI

Like my fellow xenoverse players have said before, beast is for a more aggressive play style and UI is for a defensive play style. Personally, the only thing it needs is either a speed boost and enchanted durability. Since in the manga (for goku) it enchanted his durability and moros arm broke. But it’s whatever. This version of ui, I think at least, is based more on the technique then the form. Since the technique I believe doesn’t give you a boost in anything besides speed and the auto dodge that the technique should have. Which would make a lot of sense on why we’re not getting boosts to our ki attacks or melee.

It is clear that ultra instinct is honestly not very good. It’s not bad, but for draining one bar of stamina per dodge and then also an extra bar and Ki just to do a very very weak counter that you can’t even combo from, I’d say it’s similar to beast in that it has more drawbacks than anything else.

Idk. Dodging can be very useful. And it’s only real flaw is the ki consumption. Eveytginb else is good. If you pair it with a super soul that increases damage or speeds up stamina recovery, it becomes very dangerous. Better than Beast.

12:20 Well I did come up with something toxic af a couple of hours ago, Namekian, 200 attribute points in health, +5 health qq bang, "Ruler of the wind and sky, Oceanus Shenron", Shield Barrier, Darkness Twin Star, Do or Die, Ultra Instinct. Namekians have the potential to have or even go beyond 5 bars of health now, Shield Barrier blocks all the good blast options and ki stuns, Darkness Twin Star immediately throws them away if they burst dash at you, UI dodges most things they could hit you with, and even if they manage to break through all that garbage and actually start hitting you, have hypercharged defense for weeks which in turn gives you health for centuries on top of Namekian regeneration which would be applying to ALL of your last bar of health and then some since "critical" health in XV2 is defined by percentage of max rather than a blanket amount across all characters. I apologize for the ensuing shit storm that pvp will be if anyone uses this abomination of a build.

Xenoverse 2 really needs an update where we can go to an NPC or a machine to where we can stack all separate transformations all together like how ssj 1, 2 and 3 are together, we need that for ssg, ssb and ssbe, and for potential unleashed with beast, and if we get ultra instinct sign, that can go with perfected ultra instinct

UI is unfortunately pretty ass doesn't seem to give any stats any is easier to break than beast the amount of foes who transformed thinking the counter would save them to only get Stamina broken and if the counter does work I can still get out of it by transforming my self and once you can break you lose ui it really shouldn't take 5 bars if you are going to have too transform everytime you get broken overall this form kinda sucks and needs a revamp already

The aura needs work its not as bright and beautiful as gokus and also the stance needs to he changed i hatr they give every transformations the same stance gives it no personality.. hope ultra ego is the next transformation than ssj4 and legendary super saiyan form also black frieza form and orange piccolo form as well

And ui not boosting damage makes no sense to me, in the anime goku couldnt damage jiren at all in base to damaging him really badly in ui and in the manga moro broke his hand against ui goku, it hardens your body on instinct so it should give a defense boost and a speed boost ofc aswell

Ultra instinct is pretty good I don’t see why alot of people think its to bad the soaring fist ki blast is good for combo extending and the counter does some good damage i tested it out with atk limit burst on aswell i did like 4k per a counter its actually pretty good since thats almost half a hp bar

It's good for people who don't want to be hyper aggressive, and punish opponents for their hubris. It's easily the most defensive fighting style in the game, and that isn't a bad thing, but it's definitely not an aggressive style. UI rewards smart play, and with a good Stam regen super soul I've been able to cheese PvP and PvE (Solo PQ 122 in about 6 minutes without bots) simply by playing the patience game. It does have flaws. Punisher shield has always insta-cheesed UI and it's no different with this one, and a lot of people still run it in PvP. Whether it touches you or your Soaring fist, you're gonna hurt and likely get stamina broken, and then punished. And 500 Ki normally is a lot, but it is even heftier of a price that it uses that Ki. The charge is great but you still open yourself up even doing it for short bursts.

Ultra instinct actually doesn't boost your power believe it or not. Before jiren was revealed to be at goku and vegeta's level, people mistook mui goku beating jiren as in ui gives the user more power. All UI does is boost your speed and your reflexes. That's why ssjb vegeta, not ssjbe vegeta was actually able to damage and catch up to jiren for a short while.
