Anyone remember getting this for the first time and thinking “wait this isn’t like the usual dbz game.” Creating your character for the first time and really having fun, man even tho this game came out 6 years ago it still feels like it’s old. I love the old tenkaichi games and all, but this music and this game really captured my interest compared to as a child to the old games. Really felt like a genuinely good modern dbz game. Saying all of this while this is playing just makes me feel sad about it, now I’m gonna cry before going to bed.

it's no strange that xenoverse 1 is more iconic and memorable than xenoverse 2. i can't describe this amazing feeling of playing xenoverse for the first time back in 2015 and waiting for the gt DLC packs. the game was so new and special, i never thought that a sequel is gonna be made in the future. i thought it is unique in itself, it doesn't need a sequel. i have nothing against xenoverse 2 except that the gamplay mechanics are the same.
