I'm not a huge fan of the white bandanna and shades, but Gohan with just the green gi and black spandex underneath was a legitimately cool outfit. Plus, it was something he could actually call his own as opposed to a lot of his other outfits like Goku's orange gi in the Buu Saga, Piccolo's outfit in the Cell Saga (pretty sure the purple Saiyan Saga outfit was also meant to look like his), and the Saiyan armor in the Frieza Saga.

The bit where Videl is getting smacked senselessly where Goku said that she had all her vital organs, that was Piccolo going "ALL OF THEM?!" It's a REALLY obscure reference to the original Piccolo Voice Actor who decided to use a really thick slurr to his words for... some reason. Goku said that he missed all his vital organs, and Piccolo delivered that same line in the exact same way you hear it here. This line also came back in DBZA Kai 2. They really like that goofy ass delivery

Most people don't get the 'extra notch in the belt' line.... it's an, 'Erotic asphyxiation' joke.... Nappa died while hanging himself with a belt in order to cut off his air and blood flow while masterbating, it supposedly increases the pleasure. Unfortunately, he took it too far that time and the extra notch made it too tight, causing him too pass out and making him unable to remove the belt before the lack of blood flow getting too his brain starved it of oxygen, causing an endgame stroke....Same thing with jujitsu, you're not cutting off their air way, they can breathe just fine while being choked unconscious. You're actually cutting off the blood flow to the brain by squeezing the main veins/arterys in the neck, effectively starving the brain of any and all oxygenated blood, which is why they pass out in 10 seconds or less... if it was cutting off the airway, there's still oxygenated blood being pumped through the body from your last few breaths until it's all used up. it could take 1 to a couple minutes for someone to pass out from lack of air, depending how long someone can hold their breath and how high their heart rate is. The higher it is, the faster the body will burn through the oxygen remaining within the blood because the heart is pumping it at much faster rate to help feed the muscles more oxygen, because the more stress the bodies muscles are under during heavy physical exertion, the more oxygen you need... Which is why your heart rate increases during exercise and the reason why your breathing gets heavier and heavier in an attempt to take in more oxygen and disperse it throughout the body at a faster rate....but if you cut off the blood going to the brain entirely, then you're also cutting off the oxygen regardless if they're breathing or not... Sure, the rest of the body is getting oxygen to feed the muscles, but it doesn't matter because the brain isn't...so you're out within a few seconds. Anyway, Nappa unintentionally hung and asphyxiated himself too death...so I'm sure he was found similarly to how Yamcha was in the DBZA Trunks arc. Only Yamcha's death was intentional annndddd he had pants on when he was found, unlike Nappa.. he was found hanging there by a belt, pants off, cock out... A lot of people actually die doing that, BTW, it's actually quite q common kink. It's why women like it, only, they have someone do it too them lol.

Yeah. Buu only truly gains someone's powers when he absorbs them. However Fat Buu was not worried about absorption. Only Evil Buu, Super Buu, and Kid Buu knew absorption would possibly make him stronger. Fat Buu was more worried about food. So any strong fighters he would turn into food. Maybe more strength meant it tasted better. I'm not sure. Evil Buu reflects Fat Buu's candy beam and eats him afterwards yet somehow still gains Fat Buu's power after eating him. Probably the only time eating someone made Buu stronger overall

At the end they weren't referring to GT they were making reference to Super. In the GT timeline GT takes place after the end of DBZ. People keep annoyingly calling it non-canon when in reality it is it's own thing. Meanwhile Super has gone on long enough that it has started contradicting the end of DBZ so that means that by their logic it can't be considered canon either.

Honestly, don't apologize for not liking something I hear that about growing up with stuff, usually I only watch subs over dubs because older dubs had a bad habit of changing stuff, but any time I watch or play Naruto games/anime, I put that on English because the voices just sound right to me because I grew up with them, Naruto is one of the few anime I'll go out of my way to watch the filler , mostly because the story focuses so much on Naruto and Sasuke that all the other characters kind of get sidelined As far as shit-talking? I can really appreciate the chances you’re giving this classic series. I will say, you may notice some differences in the Buu Saga that are actually worse than the anime, but OVERALL Buu Saga is just mid for me, besides Vegeta’s sacrifice. Also Gohan’s Kamehameha against Buu’s egg was pretty freakin hype. Also him powering up for Kibito. But my personal favorite Arcs are: -Baba’s Tournament -22nd Tournament -23rd Tournament -Saiyan Saga -Namek Saga -Android Saga

The reason fat buu doesn’t change when he eats Dabura is because Dabura is weaker than him, or the Kai that made him fat. He is fat because he’s already absorbed a Kai, who I believe was the strongest Kai, and his body shifted from his kid form to his fat form when he did that. He changes appearance based on the strongest being inside him.

I resisted TFS for so long and then caved. Now let's be honest, TFS DBZA is probably the best introduction into the DBV. PS you missed the "Kiao what" joke.

There's things i like about it but I'm sad that it's not what I imagined it would be like having grown up with DBZA and YGOA Over time this kind of content grew to be longer and more involved with more work. The Namek and Cell arcs (the last two seasons I believe?) were works of art. I'd show them to people unironically with complete confidence they'd find things to love and enjoy. I can't imagine anyone showing this to people who didn't have a past with DBZA. I'd probably tell a friend to give DBZA a shot and if they feel like watching this part that's just a bonus. (as in I'd say absolutely nothing, but be delighted if they enjoyed it on their own anyway)

The fight are great and that's why most people love it. Who really liked snake way or how long the frieza fight dragged once goku was finally super sayian. TFS didn't do Buu abridged because Toei copyrighted them so many times they had enough. That's the main reason they stopped. If Toei let them do it, they would have 100% did the entirity of the Buu Saga.
