Ose Eigbobo Pick Goten and Kid Trunks, have Goten meet both Goku and Kid Trunks, they both give him a defense boost of 30% making almost everyone do next to no damage, get another armor on the map and Kid Buu is the only one who can actually do any damage to you.

For me, it was fighting Perfect Form (Power Weighted) Cell in the first Budokai. I think it took me like 40 times of loosing to actually beat him. And I still have severe trouble with him even today. I'm not sure if the Budokai series is known for rage, but I do think that they need to work on their difficulty spikes for new players.

@@rowyourboat4331 ok, so, I'm pretty sure that even if the PS4 and XBOne can't handle it, I'm pretty sure that the next generation consoles could handle this solution that's supported in many emulators of 3d consoles: Go out, get copies of the PS2 releases or something, rip the disc images (they technically own the original so it wouldn't be illegal) and then write a PS2 emulator that can upscale the output of the final 3D renders to HD/4k. Alternatively, if they're able to retrieve the needed files from the disc images, they could do the HD Rerelease off of that.

@@jordangarcia3635 Yes, you do. I still have nightmares about any and EVERY Majin Buu/Perfect Cell/Frieza form fight in ANY DBZ game. Especially this one. Kid Buu especially loved cheating like a b**ch every single time. And Perfect Cell NEVER EVER shut up about how "perfect" he was, it got so f**king annoying, I wanted to quit the game. Same thing with Frieza. It's like they purposely designed a bad DBZ game. But despite those things, I liked the game, but I always hated those fights. Hated the Majin Frieza and Majin Cell fights too. More awful bs, from an otherwise great series like this one. But I agree, dude. F**k Buu and every one of his forms. They all had way too much health, regenerating health, they kept spamming the same damn moves, and were just way too powerful. It's like they were TRYING to put you into the shoes of the actual characters to let you know how badly everybody got their ass handed to them by Buu, every time, even right at the very end, when Goku goes SSJ3, which doesn't even make any difference, because he only used it for like, 5-10 seconds. I mean; I loved how Goku uses the Super Spirit Bomb to literally gather energy from every living thing, and how Hercule ACTUALLY helps save the day too, that was brilliant. But a lot of this game's fights just punch you repeatedly in the face, and then, expects you to win while your health is in the red, and Buu can regenerate health. Just, no. But the game's not all bad. But f**k Majin Buu, in this game. Seriously.

I remember this game. It was a whole lot of fun. There are a lot of fun what ifs? for this game. Like Tien and Yamcha fusing, Goku and Hercule fusing, and Super Buu absorbing Frieza, Cell, Vegeta, and Tien and Yamcha. I remember there was a cheat my brother showed me. You have to press and hold some buttons while you go shopping. You enter the shop then leave and you get items. You can keep doing this till you get EVERYTHING.

@Ben Thomas I still remember seeing Majiin Frieza and Cell come in the first time. Serious surprise. And then later Buu absorbs Cell. Super Buu was hard enough for Gotenks. Then he absorbs Cell and kicks my ass. And I also when fighting Kid Buu (God that was a nightmare) using Goku Gohan and Vegeta. Kept getting our asses kicked and only won thanks to luck and the fact that he was weaken after each fight.

i love this game... i remember one semi-important part to this. You dont have to worry about getting the dragonball's until the last two levels, cause each level can hold up to 3... and you get the first one in level one. Also the two weird fusions

hey tfs he is a little guide if you like to help you Unlock Everything Enter the Skill Shop while holding down the L2 button. Bulma will talk, but just leave, while holding the L2 button still. Re-enter the shop, repeat the trick over and over and your percent of your Capsules keeps increasing. This also unlocks characters for you, Breakthrough capsules, fusions, everything. you can do this on a video or grinding not recording keep up the fantastic work and have a good Christmas from the people downunder Australia #DBCEMBER

Seriously, why did people hate this game? Because its different? Because it follows an alternate story? Like, I get that somethings may NOT make sense in this game, but come on guys this hate is overblown and rediculous, I mean its not perfect but still.

I’ve spent more time in budokai 2 than in budokai 3. The first time I saw the red ribbon snow map, and playing vegeta with only 3 moves , Ssj, final flash , and one more it was fucking amazing. I’d pick 2 just for the story , gameplay and character wise 3. Plus going super sayian drained way faster in 2 which was fun. Sadly in 3 they took out the snow map.

Getting Videl in this game is still one of the most patience-testing endeavors I've endured in my years of gaming. Not because it was particularly difficult, but because I had to purposely lose so many fights with Gohan to make sure Buu absorbed him, and then had to use Hercule to get to the OTHER SIDE OF THE MAP while Buu was healing on a Dende space, and then had to use Hercule to defeat Buu. Again, it wasn't particularly difficult to achieve, but it took so long just to get a character that I never used, it was torture.

I played this game a lot as a kid, I used to use the what if fusions and using majin vegeta in practice mode I had to use the heart virus to activated it during practice just to use him. I still have all 3 budokai games. :)

For Xenoverse 3 how cool would it be if Trunks became the main antagonist and he went to timelines and made them better than they were thus causing more damage. Like he managed to somehow convince Raditz to go to Earth and befriend Goku. #DBcember.

It's definitely a waste of the time cop concept if they don't do that. It's really boring if the player is always forced to be on the good guys side in fixing the timeline in their favor. The time patrol should be absolutely neutral. It's such bullshit that they let Trunks mess up the timeline in Xenoverse 2 just so he can have his happy ending with Gohan.

Yeah though I don't just want them to save lives like saving krillin or whatever. One that I think would be really awesome is if Trunks was able to help Broly control his transformation. I like to think the reason he's like the way he is was his father's crap parenting in helping him control his powers and it ripped his mind apart. So in order to restore balance you have to let Broly go crazy and lose himself. Essentially I want victories that you don't feel good about.

Wait, Budokai 2 was the first game you could do short cuts as I remember. I remember being blow away by the ease of using techniques with forward circle or backward circle. Plus that first Saibaman fired off his acid without a combo so I think you can too

This game was literally the only exposure I ever got to Dragonball when I was little. It was one of my older brothers games and my sister and I played it all the time because it was one of the only games he had that wasn't Maden or some shooter/airforce bullshit. Of course, I had no idea what the story was or who the characters were, but I beat it countless times.

This was my favorite out of Budokai's i was so sad when it got left out of HD, I used to play Story with brother when choose which character we gonna play and take turns changing controller when it it was are characters turn to move

#DBCember Hope you guys read this before getting to that point: BEAT VEGETA ON NAMEK WITH KID TRUNKS so you can get Future Trunks. Doesn't make sense to me either but seriously, that's how you get it.

But that locks you out of unlocking Vegeta (since you have to defeat him with Goku), Captain Ginyu (since you have to defeat him with Vegeta, and Vegeta only joins you if you beat him with Goku), and the easiest method of unlocking Super Saiyan for Goku (pick Krillin as your ally and have him die fighting Freeza). The game requires you to beat the story mode *at least twice* to unlock everyone. Even in this stage TFS missed out on Yamcha (beat Nappa with Tien), and can only unlock Nappa if they restart Dragon World after unlocking Vegeta and beating Nappa with him.
