Teen gohan had so much potential to become the greatest hero ever known... to surpass his dad in everyway but they wanted to keep goku a main character instead of passing the torch and his mom screwed him.. I cry every time I think about.. /cry

It is sad, but Akira Toriyama pointed out that Goku was what everyone wanted at the time of the manga. While I hate that Gohan never truly got what he deserved, I would be lying if I didn't admit that cheering Goku on to a win is just natural for me. Gohan is an awesome character, but I'm not sure he could carry a series the way our loveable oaf Goku does. I also have to admit that Goku and Vegeta's rivalry has really matured and blossomed into something really deep, 20 years in the making, and I couldn't trade that dynamic for Gohan. Just my 2 cents.

I started loving goku since dragonball always will, but it was something about gohan ever since he broke out of that capsule to save goku that made me feel he was going to be something special.. and seeing his progress just like goku, I love the goku/vegeta duo but I think akira could have pulled it off despite the fans if he really wanted too. the father son kamahameha in the cell games was the perfect time in my opinion.. Just like midyora and allmight in the double Detroit smash move in the movie.. Just epic /cry LOL

@@thomasbrooksjr380 Alright, careful, you're hitting nerves bringing up Midoriya and Allmight lol. I feel you though, don't get me wrong, Gohan was so awesome and as early as the Saiyan saga they hinted at Gohan's untapped potential. Sadly, it only ever topped out with the Father-Son Kamehameha, which was sick. I remember my friends and I.. maybe 6th grade geeking out when it first aired on Toonami. Even Vegeta mentions in the Buu saga that Gohan was stronger when he fought Cell. I know we get his Mystic form which is badass too, and as cool as Vegeto is, as a kid, I really thought we were going to see a Father/Son fusion which would have been epic. Gohan deserved to be on Kefla status, but sadly, he seems on par with Piccolo these days... honestly, they both deserve top tier.

Gohan's character doesn't really work as well as Goku's for the series because he's a reactive character whereas Goku has a flat chracter arc so he doesn't reach an end of his arc. Gohan reached the end of his positive change arc at the end of the cell saga

Its 2019 now, and i still think this fighting game is much better than all xenoverse, or fighterz. To get SSJ4 You must kill Kid Boo with the Super Spirit Bomb, that will make the story continue and you'll be able to go fight Uub, go to the southern islands before doing this, and a cutscenes will appear, unlocking Ssj4

Esteban Gutierrez I remember being like 7 or 8, can’t remember exactly but I was definitely younger than 10. Picture a fat kid running to the school library to use the computer. Broke asf family, no internet or PC at home. My only concern for the day was to search up how to unlock SSJ4 on IGN strategy website. Your instructions are just how in remembered they were on that website all those years ago. I made sure to print multiple copies and stash them away safely at home. Booted up my PS2 and got to work. Nothing compares to the satisfaction that I felt when I finally unlocked Goku and Vegeta SSJ4, along with Gogeta SSJ4. I felt like I had accomplished something incredible. Fast forward many years. Now I am 25. I’ve experienced a lot in life so far including losing weight from hitting gym, exploring and venturing out, meeting many people, trying different drugs and smashing hoes from different nations. But..still. Nothing compares. None of that was shit compared to the happiness of unlocking that sweet SSJ4 capsule. Back when I was a lame fat kid and the girls didn’t care for me. This game did care. Damn bruh your comment got me emotional.

The amount of hours I’ve spent in pvp matches on this is ridiculous, and in all the games I have ever played this is the one the I was the most competitive about, Even when my hands hands had blistered, or when the plastic part under the rubber thing on the left analog stick had split in half cutting my palm during one of those power struggle things with the Kamehameha wave I just kept going, and just pushed through the agony, eventually I had reached a level of skill no human or com could compete with. Dodging, Teleporting, Blocking Counters and Grapples all became hardwired into muscle memory and even now after playing it at the highest difficulty after 6 years hiatus is still can’t be touched and those combos are locked in like gta San Andreas cheats

Tenkaichi is really good but it's so easy to play any character on the roster in Budokai you actually have to have main a character to be good with them.
