Always been one of my favorite tracks from the first Budokai. I'm eventually picking up DBX but I'm undecided on XB1 or PC. If the PC version isn't a last gen port and is mod friendly in regards to the soundtrack then I'll likely get that version. Needless to say this will be one of the first tracks I add to the game. If it isn't? Well I can always use the XB1's Game DVR to record some fights, kill the in game music and then add in what I want when I eventually upload them.

It's really too bad that I didn't grew up with this song. It almost happened too, but oh well. I know this usic from other sources, and i sure as heck love it. It's really a perfect mix between exploration, adventure and combat, which is what makes it so amazing, despite bein' totally plagiarized. And... Wow, such a powerful 8-bit remix. Would work well for a last boss fortress. The first part: when you search for the actual fortress while being outside.I'd totally see that in Shovel knight, for instance. It has this energy-filled type of vibe to it. it's super! I love it! So enjoyable :D *DOWNLOADING IT RIGHT NOW.* And now... Waitin' for my chritsmas present.. :) I mean, assuming you don't have anything planned before Rocket Knight, that is.

This and the planet namek exploration theme are the best on the budokai series, with budokai 3 theme at 3rd. But this song always pumps me up for battle. When DB Xenoverse comes out, this song will play for me and I gain new power! >:D

ETH102 Then again, theres copying and theres insperation. A lot of musicians out there have copied far worse but got off the hook simply because nobody noticed, cared or even raised it to concern. Doom literally rips songs from albums to add to their tracks but nobody raised a word about them. Ironically these songs aren't copies, they are very similar but there are changes enough to make them their own songs; but not enough to say they weren't inspired. Even the musician said he was "listening to their tracks" so it's more of a tribute than copying. That said, the fact to fire him and remove all songs is overkill. I think the company just wanted a reason to fire him; in fact I didn't know any of these famous songs until I heard these songs first, promoting the original like a tribute. It's sad he was fired, now no other dbz game will have awesome music; if not good then fear of being fired for plagiarism. There are too many songs out there these days now, I doubt even a song you made-up won't be compared and told it's a copy. Originality is hard when so much is already done. Plagiarism is bad, but not as much as firing a guy who openly admitted he like their music. If anyone is to be fired, it's the company. Did anyone else get fired? No. Just that one guy who did it nearly 10 years ago. 10! He got away with it then, why not let it die?! Why revive something long gone? If it was a big issue, wouldn't it be found out sooner? Sorry rant over XD

Plus due to how copyright laws work in other countries, Japan specifically, there tends to be a large misconception (or simply they don't care about other countries laws) about what they are allowed to do. Also it's not just 10 years ago. Tracks in Raging Blast also had plagiarized content If he did it with a few tracks then maybe it would have been easily forgotten, but he did a lot of them, with a lot of different artists. You can't do that, whether or not it sounds good or it's art.

ETH102 Doom was never called out on it and yet they kept their job to this day and are still doing their job. Also his music is STILL in a recent game, Infinite world. Which came out despite the claims. So the guy was fired and all music was removed.... except for 1 game; the musician still got credit for it. Also doom isn't the only one to do plagiarism and get away with it. Many companies did, in fact there are still some who have copied songs and still haven't been found out about it; all this and yet only 1 guy gets fired? Out of an entire team of people working on this game, 1 guy got fired for the said claim; despite people having worked and agreeing with him enough to ship it out AND another game being released after the said claims. "None of this changes the fact he never had permission and neither did anyone else." It happened years ago and only now bring it up? If it was so important, why not bring it up far sooner than 10 years late? In fact why not bring it up before release? Also "None if this changes the fact his music is, was and still is awesome". The new HD remakes have terrible music now; the music is so generic that you can't even tell the difference from elevator music. The funny thing is, plagiarism is when you copy everything and yet this claim failed to say he only copied parts of the songs; the rest of the song is original, in fact he changed parts in the copies as well. So if I drew a mickey mouse head and changed the colours, is it original? What if I replaces the ears with a rabbits and the face with Garfield's? There's a big difference in copying and paying a tribute. A tribute hints to other songs, but has changes enough to still be different. A copy is everything being the same and passing it as your own. None of his songs sound completely the same from start to finish. In fact some of the claims show his music is even better than originals. You might say it's a fair claim for a business to fire 1 guy for a claim that came up about work doing 10 years ago; for me, I see it as a scapegoat. Throw the guy who's being targeted out to the hungry people to please them, while they run away. The worry here is, this isn't the first of last time it will happen. Which is worrying for all musicians. If you still believe it's a fair thing they did, show me one other case of someone who "copied" music in plagiarism and got fired for something at least 5 years ago or older?
