Well, remember that cancelling a normal combo set can be performed via G&P tactics if you are near the ground and cancelling charged melee is the same as cancelling a grab. So you can literally cancel every melee based attack as long as you are near the ground except rush attacks (I was about to say "so far" thinking Zero might find a way around that, but he's retired now... *sad face*).

I'd say he may be one of the most dedicated players to the franchise itself, but he is still NO WHERE NEAR the best player of Tenkaichi 2. He's not bad, but the best? No way.

- of the smash I'm using. I also intend on using the Dragon Dash Cancel, but because a Dragon Homing in BT2 is so bloody fast, I'll have to be at least 5 times faster than the game itself. Because, like, the moment you do a DH in BT2, you're basically already up to your opponents' face. Whether the DDC will even work or not, who knows. & I've also been on Raging Blast 2 a lot so, heck, you might even see me try to cancel, LOL. Even though in BT2 you CAN cancel grabs, but that's about it.

... so evaluating you was actually pretty hard. This is why we ask for your best performances or what you believe are your best performances, it helps us evaluate the player faster, but if a player does not have or does not believe they have a "best" performance, we work our way through the most recent of their work because that would display their most recent level of skills UNLESS it's obvious they haven't played in a while (showing a lot of other videos of other games), we check older ones.

I messaged one of them (based on something irrelevant) and when he messaged me back, he said he almost deleted my message until he realized what it was. He then continued with telling me about how a lot of people ask him to give shout outs for them and he simply deletes them. I'd say if someone wanted me to do the same, I wouldn't make a video of it, might just add something in the description.

However, since there were several people evaluating each person, the final calculations were fairly accurate. If you made a new "best performance", it may or may not change a lot of scores around because it would only add another performance for evaluating. The more advanced techniques you can cram into the video while making it look natural and not taking damage would likely rise the Control Over Battle and Overall Mental Comfort in Regarding Challenges and using advanced techniques...

He also took things out of context and would resort to blocking people very quickly. Like, someone said something bad about his video. Then I came in and defended him by saying there was nothing wrong with the video. Then we got to arguing and then M20 stepped in. Actually, we have found a way of finding the best. You are right in the fact that it means more than just winning every fight. It is based on several aspects of a player's style including knowledge of mechanical concepts, melee ability, maneuvering ability, defensive ability, entertainment quality vs repetition (no spamming), Control over the battle, innovation/adaptation, dedication and more. What he said may be based on his own opinion of style preference, but the statement is still wrong...

Yeahh, I suppose. I'm currently Rank #3 on the BT3 Top 10, & that was based off an old video of mine, Lol. I have to make a new "Best Performance" video. I mentioned my Rank because even in BT3 I haven't shown the SEW defence; just skill in other areas. But back to BT2 again, I suppose you're right. ...as a big BT2 fan, there were several Tenkaichi 2 players that I tried to get ahold of that had a "big name" and they were either too high on their pedistal to hear me or it's possible they don't care about KZbin anymore. T2's been out a while. Spralwers and M201985 were really bad about that. When I initially heard they were considered the original champions of the game, I wanted to get to know them. I'd ask them questions, I'd make humorous comments fishing for a reply... nothing.

...As for BT2, of course it will be alien. People preach about the similarities of the two games but only the elite like ourselves know the true differences of the games. However, since you have played BT2 before (previously to BT3), I think it will come back to you sooner than you think. It will be fun watching you make mistakes though (like trying to throw in perfect smashes when they don't exist, etc). Still, as one of the evaluators, I look forward to your best performance.

If all of your performances thus far have been average performances due to you being rusty or you just trying to pump out videos to get them out of the way without "trying", then of course a new "best" performance would help with a more accurate evaluation because it would show that THIS is what the Hawk can do when he is amped while the other videos that were previously evaluated were not accurate. It depends on how natural it looks.

If you can apply everything (save the SEW and Hell's Storm defense) into your natural game-play, then I'd say you definitely have a chance of making the list. Remember, ranks #8-10 have never shown a SEW or Hell's Storm defense, they made the list on basic skills with a touch of advanced ones. I mean, if you happen to have a single video or small handful of videos displaying everything while keeping the perfect... basically, perfectly advanced game-play like Zero's top videos, it would make evaluations go much quicker, but otherwise it takes watching several videos for a single evaluation. You have MANY videos...

... as much as I hate to say it, the "champions" from ranks 6-10 are pretty much obsolete right now. Zero has set completely new standards. If you can meet half of them by incorporating half of his techniques into your game-play, I'd say your basic Tenkaichi 2 based talent would carry you the rest of the way. Even still, if you didn't make the list for whatever reason, you still have the BT3 list.

...in fact, it seems you are touching down on 2 different concepts yourself. One being that he didn't "mean" that Zanto IS the best, but that he simply likes his style the most. The other being based on a true meaning of being the best which is based on more than just winning (which as I agreed earlier, is true). I never really cared too much about any of that because I don't expect anything. Look at my subs, I think I have like 20? As far as the "big guys" not replying, I have noticed it from a few. That usually comes down to the character of the host vs the amount of messages in their inbox. If they get too many messages of the same thing (I'm sure you're not the only one wishing he'd give a shout out about), they'll just consider it spam and delete them all. Then there are people who just don't care..
