Present Gohan: Goes SSJ2 because Android 16 died. A character he had basically no interaction with, ever, before that point. Future Gohan: Literally everyone dies, he loses a fucking arm, and he's a weaksauce super saiyan incapable of beating the (as stated by Trunks) "weaker than the present timeline" future androids. That said, Future Gohan died like a man while Present Gohan lived like a little bitch.
