Continuing from my previous comment, the brightness of the coloring and the even tone throughout the series is something that some people prefer, but it doesn't make it better. Again, like the sound track, it's a matter of opinion when you compare something of that nature. The plot though, is better, if very confusing on the first watch, though it does become easier to understand if you watch it a few more times.
