@@zedaf872 You can see in the video he is igniting people well outside of buckshot range to apply pressure and set up his team. You should give it a try in a team, it opens up more options than you expect.

A hidden benefit of dragons breath is that you can often see the light from burning enemies through walls. Since enemies will usually run to cover after being ignited, you can see where exactly they run to and either push or wallbang At around 5:20 you can see this in action

For sure. Especially in buildings with many cracks. At night you also get a nice blinding affect and a huge beacon for your long ammo friends.

The problem with dragon's breath is that it competes with flechette ammo, which is just better. Turns out burning off a bar doesn't mean much if the other guy just kills you. Bleed also affects your immediate health, not your total health, so it's much easier to create pressure and openings for your long ammo friends.

Sadly yes, since it got upgraded from meme to useful it most likely lost its original purpose of setting hunters on fire. Now I need to play explosive ammo again cuz they buffed my centennial poison combo. 😅

@@Delaney7 oh sorry didn't meant it that way its like I enjoyed db as its only burned and they just run and panic but still was an threat. Then crytek gave it an ohk range so it was lethal and I went to centennial poison, saber and derringer combo. Then they buffed poison ammo recently. Now I want an buff for explosive ammo so I enjoy martiny Henry half explosive ammo half normal paired with uppercut explosive ammo with fanning. Ps: I would give dragonsbreath an a- or b+ since it's more of an downgrade from regular ammo.

@@Delaney7 it started with a specter dragonsbreath, officer. Hive bombs and vitality shots. Then I went to my favorite: centennial ( calamity Jane)poison ammo, Saber ( Cypress Thorn ), Medkit + Knuckle knive + derringer + concertina trap, 2× Hive Bomb + hellfire + Vitality Shot. I usually went to tag them with centennial and then finished them off with Saber or derringer. I also liked the combination of waiting/following a team around if they pass a red barrel and then shoot the barrel with my Winfield c silencer. The confusion is great if they don't know from where you shot the barrel. I had the samurai which is basically just the devil's advocate with Saber and a nitro to introduce yourself. When there is a team at the bosslair I also loved to say the sentence: I am a Samurai! And I'm very angry! Come outside! Just for the fun. And as I wrote before I'm searching for a new meme so I'm trying the explosive one out. All loadouts are approved by me and are working good in an trained hand. Have fun with it. 🤘

@@Delaney7 I'd have to use it again but even today I shot a guy 3 times up close in Nicole's prison. He died before he caught on fire. I also had the same thing happen in pitching. I don't know if it's the gun or if for some reason it's the Cain skin.

The absolute cheese of this weapon makes the game that much more unplayable, long range dragons breath will eventually burn you. A duo rushing you with this tactic is about the cheapest play in the book. Oh well, Hunt will be Hunt I suppose.

@@Delaney7 A regular firefight, any sniper variants with great distance in-between, and any sort of concertinaing dead bodies or blocking paths off. Generally to burn another from a distance while blind firing is a faulty mechanic of the game(guaranteed). There's more I'm forgetting but that's three. Oh and poison sense after being shot is another "not cheap" tactic. In short the basic premise of the game is to shoot people and kill them, not cower and use flame shots from meters away... A great example of this tactic is like kicking a man in the balls during a fist fight, it's cheap and poor in etiquette, without it, you're useless(not you in specific).

I've noticed myself that this DB-**** is really coming and I pray it doesn't become full meta. Such annoying bullshit would do the game anything but good. It was a phenomenon to be taken seriously and it should have stayed that way. I can't understand why it was pushed in such a way at all. Setting people on fire 50 meters away..such nonsense. This is much to strong and has nothing to do with Hunt:Showdown. You don't really need that kind of stuff in a lobby and give attention so that soon every 3-star hippi walks around with it. It's not meant in a bad way or against you..I love your work..just my opinion..
