You should fertilize decayed organic fertilizers, cow manure is the best fertilizer as shown in the video, remember to regularly water every 3 days for the roots to develop.

A 3 to 5 gallon size pot is a nice size but you can go bigger and put 4 plants in one big tub. I planted 2 nice fat cuttings about 15 inches tall in a 5 gallon bucket with drainage holes in June of 2021, they are about 3 ft tall now and so big with so many sprouted pieces that grew from the original cuttings. So fun to watch them grow. I'm going to sell cuttings, too.

Hello there, may I ask you ... I have a small pytahaya and it is full of air roots, should I cut them out or just let them be?( its about 10-15 roots on 30cm branch). If the plant has these roots, does it mean that it needs more air humidity? I live in central Europe so, the climate here is not so good for it maybe.

Imo don’t cut them off it helps it. Just let them do what they need to do and air roots is normal for some plants

Dragon fruit love yo Climb and they are properly shooting air roots so it can climb. They use them to cling onto other trees to climb with too. I mean if u want them to look neater I guess chop them off but if it was me I would let them have some cos they can get their moisture from air too then
