You can make that with a hand mixer or a stand mixer and freeze it after you get it whipped up but you have to be careful and make sure you don't whip it too long or it will turn it into butter. Have you tried any of the dragon fruit freeze dried?

I really enjoyed your videos on 'How to Root Dragon Fruit Stem From Store Bought Fruit.' However, I’ve found that rooting a dragonfruit stem in water presents challenges, like needing to change the water often and using hydrogen peroxide to disinfect the fruit pulp. How about trying to root a dragonfruit cutting from store-bought fruit without using any growing medium, relying only on humidity? You would need a 2mm copper wire, a glass jar, water, a hygrometer, plastic wrap, and a toothpick. You could wrap the copper wire to create a stand for the cutting inside the glass jar, which you’d fill with water (making sure no water touches the cutting). Then, cover the jar with plastic wrap, prick holes in it with the toothpick, and monitor the humidity. I’d be really interested to see what kind of results you’d get from this method. Looking forward to your thoughts! Is this something you would like to try? I’d call it a lazy way to root dragonfruit at home.

Sounds like an interesting experiment. Try it and let me know what your results are

@@GraftingDragonFruit I already tried it before but failed over and over again. However, what I think - and I say 'I think' very lightly - that I can learn from it is that you need to keep it away from intense sunlight, so it doesn't dry out or get stressed. Preferably, it should be in the shaded part of the house, but not in complete darkness, as dragonfruit cuttings, unlike pineapple crowns, can't root near a very sunny window, especially if you're trying to root them without any growing medium. Therefore, you wouldn't want to keep it in the sunny window of your house during the summer. Late autumn or early winter is probably the best time to try it inside if you live in Mid or Northern Europe. You need to keep it in a container that is large enough for the cutting to have good ventilation (the most difficult part), so you can't place too many cuttings at once. Also, the warmer it is in your house, the more ventilation is going to be necessary for the cutting to prevent rot. The cutting would root best at a room temperature of 18-20°C rather than 23-25°C because it wouldn't lose as much water, would stay more hydrated, and develop a more robust root system. However, the downside is that rooting might take twice as long. A humidity level somewhere around 70%-80%, without big fluctuations, ideally needs to be maintained to keep the cutting from drying out. That said, keeping it near a stove is the worst place in the kitchen to keep it, as humidity and temperature around the cutting can suddenly increase when members of the house cook their food. As a consequence, air ventilation can significantly drop, and all of that leads to rot. The cutting needs to be kept away from condensation, as condensation is its worst enemy when trying to root it using this method.

@GraftingDragonFruit I just fill the ninja containers with dragon fruit, freeze them and put it through the gelati cycle on the ninja creami. I grow a few hundred fruit trees and we make lots of different gelati. Mandarin/lychee , banana/jackfruit, jaboticaba , the combinations are endless and they are all delicious and healthy.
