They no longer take 600 seconds (10 minutes) to hatch I have tried several separate times and timed it each time, it now takes 2,100 seconds (35 minutes) to hatch.

I fully believe that we need tameable dragons in Minecraft, but I don't think that it should be so cheap or easy. This would definitely fit in much more as a late-game achievement in a greater magic system. I do love the models though, they fit in quite nicely with the vanilla aesthetic.

There are two addon mods for Dragon Mounts that add even more dragon skins, one is Dragon Mounts: More Dragons By FuriusMaximus, and the other is Dragon Mounts: Even More Dragons By EvilNick. You should review them both, they have some incredibly creative dragons to add to any How To Train Your Dragon build.

To obtain multiple Dragon eggs you need to install the "More Dragon Eggs" Mod. In Vanilla Minecraft you can't get more than one dragon egg.

1.20 and although I do not want to be that player that complains about free mod, I am rather confused why at this point, they still do not have breath attack. This feature apparently was coming and is being worked out. it seems to be in the works since 1.18 or something like that. To me 90% of the dragon is clearly breathing fire, otherwise we have flying oversized horse, cool..but I have other mods that can fly me...or just right off teleport me to some direction, I don't need a travel mount. At this point this just a Wyvern which were not knowing to breath fire. Side note: Would be a better mod if you can simply remove the front legs and make animation somehow use wings for walking, would be kinda hard. Anyway, dragon with out fire is just disappointment will keep an eye out to see this update. However, at this point fire and ice simply does exactly the same thing but has dragons that breath fire.

You can find dragon eggs in all kinds of structures, there is a pipe system, with spawners and chests above them, where i found an aether dragon egg. Btw you don't need the basic dragon egg, you can transform other eggs also.

Not sure if this info will help at this point for you, but I am guessing that the end portal duplication trick might help get more. That or use a mod that makes a new egg spawn each time you fight the ender dragon.

The dragon eggs changed to stages meaning that each type of dragon taking a different time to hatch for example only the forest dragon egg take ten minute also 5 minute get added to each type of dragon eggs this is in an order and here it is the first one hatches the fastest and the last one hatches the slowest : forest,ghost,nether,ender,aether,fire and ice also you can change the breed of the dragon even after it hatched by right clicking it with the egg of the dragon type you want it to change it to

The 'More Dragon Eggs' mod lets you obtain a dragon egg for each time you kill the Ender Dragon. It's on 1.19 as well.

I'm love the new Aether Dragon texture, but I'm kinda miss the old Aether dragon texture. New looks more like a mechanical automaton, but in elegant and fancy way instead of crude and intimidating, which is cool, but old was more resembling the cielish being Aether Dragon supposed to be.

Players can re-summon the dragon by placing four end crystals on the edges of the exit portal, one on each side. When the dragon is re-summoned, the four end crystals point to the tops of each pillar setting off a series of explosions that resets the obsidian pillars, iron bars, and end crystals. :)

A shame that there is a better version of this mod where the dragons can actually breath fire whilst riding them, and you can even have baby dragons on your shoulder that work as flamethrowers. But it's for 1.12 or lower I believe and for some reason they just probably forget about that whole breathing fire thing for some reason which call it nit picking if you like, made me pretty disappointed that it wasn't brought back. I suppose the other features are fine though, the mod seems quite harmless and it's a pretty good way of travelling your world. The other elements are just reskins so I never even bothered with trying to get different elements due to that alone. I hope one day they'll maybe bring back the whole breath ability, ability to farm dragon scales to make weapons and armor and other things but for now I still rate it a solid mod. Actually makes the dragon egg more useful rather then just being a trophy.

How do these dragons compare/fare in Ice and Fire mod? Still keeping it for the dragon variety but I'd rather not risk my first dragon on a disproportionately more powerful enemy if possible.

vs the ice and fire dragons they dont stand a chance. main reason being that they cant attack and have less health

the wyrmroost royal red dragon does pretty well against the 3rd stage dragons. saw a male red duke it out with a suface ice dragon and it lost but left the ice at 20 hp i believe. a female may win. but yeah these ones do not do well against the ice and fire ones and very annoyingly, you cant even change their hp in the files. i still love them though. edit:for specifics the videos dragons all have 61 hp, the royal reds have 110 for male and i think 120 to\or 125 for the female, it may vary for both. and the ice and fire ones that spawn on the suface have between 220 and 290 hp. the underground ones can have double that. the reason the royal reds can almost or can win a fight against the much healthier dragon, is they constantly breath fire at the other dragon. so if you do decide to take an ice and fire dragon on with a red, i highly suggest putting armor on the dragon and to be accurate with its fire attack. that or if you can shoot a bow off its back then do that instead.
