This game means so much to me. One of the best rpgs ever. The feeling of adventure (music, scenery, story, etc) this game has is completely incredible. Props for this compilation of probably the best female character in this franchise 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻. PD: DQ 11 is amazing too, but 8 has a special feeling to it.

I’m currently playing dragon quest x offline on Nintendo switch. it’s a really good game even though it’s in Japanese I don’t know why they haven’t released it in the west yet I like the different tribes you can chose after the tutorial.

I gotta say, Dragon Quest 11 has the best art style and graphics more obvious reasons cuz it's the latest in the franchise, Dragon Quest V has the best story, BUT Dragon Quest 8 has the best dialogue and characters. I love Dragon Quest and I get why Dragon Quest is more popular than Final Fantasy in Japan.

I use a Ps2 emulator called Pcsx2.

I know but it looks so good! On mine I can’t get it to look this good without it being weird on the edges of the screen and stuff

@@dooroofoo6512 If you mean there are black bars on the edges of the screen then I might be able to help. Open up Pcsx2 and right click on your DQ8 file. Select properties and go to the graphics section. Go to the Hardware Fixes tab and change the Skip Draw Range values to 1. There will probably still be a small black bar on the right which you can just ignore or just go to the display tab and increase the crop by about 2. If this was not the issue you were having then I'd suggest google searching for it. There have probably been other people who have experienced the same issue you have and might have found a solution. I hope this helps.

I have dragon quest 8 on both ps2 and 3ds but I will always prefer the ps2 one. that’s the one I grew up with also I don’t know why they changed the voice actress for Jessica on the 3ds remake. I prefer her voice actress in the ps2 version it just sounds better and gives her a better personality.

That's fair. I prefer the 3DS version for a lot of reasons but mainly for the Jessica endings. I believe that Jessica's original voice actress, Emma Ferguson, retired from acting, so that's why she was replaced by Jaimi Barbakoff. I do prefer Emma, but I think Jaimi does a good job as well.

This was my first ever dragon quest game I played it came out around I think 2007 when kingdom hearts 2 came out it’s nostalgic to play and it will always be my favourite dragon quest game.😁

Jessica yangus and angelo all appear in the spin off games dragon quest heroes 1 and 2. both games are like dynasty warriors I’ve just ordered them from eBay on ps4 if your into games like that.

Yeah those games are pretty good, and I actually have a few videos of them on this channel. It'd be pretty cool if they made a third one at some point, but only if Jessica is still part of the main roster of course.

I do that as well just to look at her hips and butt. Im not gonna lie i was one of them. Mostly i was running into a corner to see her curves. lol
