1st vid that popped up for "dqb2 medusa cheese", judging by the length of the vid it does not involve the cheesy method I found after finding my custom controls prevented me from using the shield. Basically at the start of the fight you take the golem right up to medusa then just leave him there, medusa will continue trying to stone him without success, in the meantime you just go behind her and build straight up and just start attacking, not once did she attack me or go into another phase (might not have had time given I had hacked my strength stat since this is my umpteenth playthrough)
