As it is to many of us all. This is by far my favorite version of this song. It's both haunting, yet optimistic.

this song always gives the vibe of preparing you for the adventure... which is fitting because this is the first song you hear right before you set out

The original Dragon Quest soundtrack has always been particularly special to me, and I'm only just now finding these suites. These are incredible.

He was a war crime denier and a bigot and a huge asshole when it came to music rights. Not a big loss.

Some people would say that Dragon Quest is very generic as far as RPG's go, but the people who say that forget that it LITERALLY INVENTED THE GENRE.

Did it though? It created the tropes the japanese rpgs are known for, sure, but DQ was inspired from western RPGs like Ultima.
@Neo-Midgar3 жыл бұрын
@@AcidBurst1 Not RPGs as a whole, but it definitely started the JRPG subgenre.

Mechanical/motoric rhythm is the basis of baroque music. Its at the conductors discretion to play it in a romantic style or stay true to the baroque style.
@syndicatephilharmonic92057 жыл бұрын
I know, I was only joking. This kind of playing allows for more polyphonic clarity. Btw don't you think this uses the subject from the BWV 565 fugue as main theme?
@auraguard02124 ай бұрын
The first one sounds like it was remixed in RPG Maker. 😅
