In my opinion, the boss difficulty is inconsistent, the Hydra at the end whooped my ass a lot until I got lucky with the RNG, then the Soul of Baramos and Bones of Baramos were really easy. Zoma was the right amount of difficulty and was easier than the Purple Hydra.

You can't die in Dracky Quest? WTF happens when you get to a fight like the Dying Fire, which constantly calls in backup? You'll be softlocked by having to fight an unwinnable battle that you also can't lose.

I played the original 4 Dragon Quest/Warriors on the NES but never got very far into them, I was more of a Final Fantasy guy growing up. So getting to play Dragon Quest 3 HD2D feels fresh and exciting, I feel like a kid again. I'm about 20+ hours in and just made it to where I can class change but I love the QoL changes they added to the game. Plus this is once again showing Toriyama's style in full force, including the fact that each class has 4 different looks, minus the hero. I still stand on the hell I want to see Final Fantasy 6 remade in the HD2D style and even the Dragon Quest 3HD2D dev team wants that.
