Dragon Quest Monsters The Dark Prince New Update Improvements!

Couple things to note for the patch, not only did they double the egg spawns per area, but it also only requires you to fight 1 battle instead of 10 to reset the monsters now. Furthermore, monsters are more likely to be exclusive versions, upper echelons are more likely to give gold/rainbow eggs and egg monsters are more likely to have egg exclusive skills.

I was in a toxic relationship with Pokémon that this update from a developer that actually cares about their players makes me tear up.

Dude the new Pokemon games are an absolute tragedy. I stopped playing after Sun/Moon (I loved Sun/Moon btw; but all the Switch ones don’t feel like any of the previous entries. And now it feels like they’ll just crap out anything with a Pokemon sticker on it because they know people will buy it)

I've only bought LGPE for Switch, the rest of Pokémon for the system have felt very underwhelming and uninteresting to me. The fact that this game gets properly updated while Pokémon don't only strengthen that feeling.

If you're looking for a quality pokemon game on the switch. Pokemon arceus is the best pokemon game on the switch. Too bad I think it's just a one off game.

You can’t go egg hunting until a decent ways into the story. Mole Hole is handy right from the start though

Mole Hole makes the game very easy. Get it if you want to have an easy time, don't use it until endgame if you want it to remain a challenge

And just the Mole Hole? I wasn't sure about the rest of the DLC. The extra costumes don't matter to me and those Treasure Trunks seem random.

Ohh thats a neat idea and maybe a new secret ending, depending on a choice you make? the ending doesn't have to be canon it could be just a fun what if kind of thing to keep it a lil interesting since your playing through it again

Now if they can just fix PVP. It’s virtually unplayable with everyone stun locking. Immunities mean nothing and stats besides agility make no difference. Defense, attack, and wisdom boosts are virtually useless. Why have so many combinations of monsters and abilities if you’re just going to get cheesed every rank battle. Can’t beat them, join them? 🤷🏻‍♂️

Yeah they need to expand the rankings or something. I recommend getting Holy Warder or Hard Warder to prevent stuns and such. Plan it based on the type of monster they are; so if they’re a magic user; protect against stuns and Fizzle, if physical attacker protect against stuns and Dazzle etc. I’ve been having much more success because of these. Farming Meteorite Bracers from the Tantamounts in the final Upper Echelon area. It’s a super rare drop though
