Dragon Quest for the NES was my first JRPG (not that we had more options at the time). Taught me English and still hard to forget all the lessons in game design (and in general) it left me! Still respect it and love it to this day.

As a DW/DQ fan there's so much of the classic DQ mechanics in Like a Dragon. Waiting for the price to drop on infinite wealth, esp after they pulled that $90 for ultimate edition postgame content lock bullshit.

Looks like a fantastic remake as I can recall playing the originals on NES. Still have them to this day. But I've noticed when your showcasing the characters walking around, there seems to be major stuttering. Don't know if that's a KZbin thing or what. But none the less, still looks fantastic.

Toriyama WAS popular outside Japan in the 80s, just not in the US. Dragon Ball was huge over here in Latin America.
