Early game the best place to level is outside the Dundrasil castle. You can get up to 4 metal slimes in a fight and some other monster. I once managed to kill 3 over them use both skills before the last monster ran away and summoned a MS and 2 LMSs. I killed both LMSs and got 72900+ exp. This was right after I got Jade so they start on level 29 I think, so maybe level 30. Most of my party gained 4 levels. So you don't need to wait to the end of the game to do this.

You don't but in end game it's far more effective. I went 69-99 in about 3 hours using this method because in the late game the amount of xp is huge. You can do this early but the xp won't be that good.

I spent hours and hours there grinding and never got anything beyond a regular slime, which just gives 2k exp. 🤷 I never even encountered a liquid metal slime until my levels were in the 40s.

A better spot is in the huji mountain.. turn left toward Huji and as you walk up the path you will see a wooden door to the right. Once you have the mission to save the woman from being sacrificed to the dragon- this wooden door into the mountain side unlocks 😊 It spawns Metal king slimes, Metal slimes, and metal hands..

Any videos on youtube of good spots to do this, i did the hardy hands to get from 40-60 outside gondolia, cant be bothered with this pep up stuff super long and not very good results. I missed doing my levelling up in the fortress of fear, didn't know the game would go back in time and you cant go back there, was on 3rd or 4th floor and found multiple king metals in pretty much all my encounters, i want something like that to get from 60 to 99 quickly.

If you don't have Critical Claim yet, a divide attack with two Metal slime swords will most likely finish off a liquid metal slime in one move, without even investing in Swords. Just need the dual wield passive from the dagger tree

For those starting out this method, always save the game after you pep the four, incase you get unlucky with electro light

Think it's 70+ for metal king slime Also *spoiler*ish The best place to do this is just before the yggdrassil area at the top, there will be enemies that spam a healing skill which helps this boring process of defend spam. Also you can purchase pep pip from casino for a chunky amount to help jade to get pepped since she has to 2 times and if you're at 70+ and kill a king slime he'll drop another pep pip from hallelujah. Hope this helps :)

this, and if you really want to, you can spend a decent mount of time farming money from stealing shields from the hoolahoop demon looking feckers in a landing zone north of yggdrasil, fix cobble stone and buy pep pops. buy casino coins (or do the roullette trick) and buy pep pips. use pops for hallejujah, pip for jade for enemy change. this is round about and will take time, but i crunched the numbers and doing this is not only faster (in my case anyway) than defend spam, you also get a shit tonne more money and you also get casino coins. these will let you buy shit you need for crafting and such while also getting levels (as while doing this i also "summoned" several metal king slimes from the hoolahoop fights meaning i was still getting decent exp while money farming) granted this mostly relies on Erik doing his fecking job but hey.... what can ya do? -.- RNG either way and atleast this gets you more stuff.

King metal slime seems to start appearing at 60. As soon as I hit 60, i started seeing it fairly regularly.

If u get on the salty stallion and go towards the east most island, it is stuffed to the brim with slimes and has decent chances of metal slimes appearing

It's also good if you equip a pepped up Rab with a meteorite bracer and have sylvando accelate him before using electro light so that he can use dirge of dundrasil on the first turn to send them to sleep so they don't run away.

A little advice after my successful farming sesh this is a good method but it’s better to use it as you’re farming in an area with metal enemies, you get the metal ones every so often and as the characters start getting pepped and you get hallelujah then you can stay in that battle until you can use the ability to summon the metal monsters and get that sweet profit I got a metal king slime and two vicious liquid metal slimes at level 55 but most ran away only got one liquid metal but it still was a lot

The Luminary can Pep Up on command so you don't need to wait around for him to get pep. I think that using Hallelujah isn't worth the trouble. Because you have to wait for Erik to get pepped up, and wait for Jade to get pepped up twice. THEN you have to hope that Electro Light doesn't give you robots. Easier to just to get pep, run off and save, then try Electro Light. If you get robots, you can just reload. Also, you could buy Pep Pops from Derk after Cobblestone is fully rebuilt. To make money fast, you can go to First Forest Whale Way Station and steal Devilry Drinkers from those little mobs that look like Booga and have the hula hoops. Devilry Drinker is easy to steal and sells for 30,000 gold.

Lulz nuub all you need is CRITICAL CLAIM. Lightning claim helps a little too but as far as ive noticed using the big guy with 2h weapon and that 9 attack skill seems to have bugged out a 100% Hit ratio [at least on the switch version] so you can guarentee a metal enemy kill as long as it doesent run away the first turn.

I’ve been doin Hallelujah Ellectro Light the past few hours and haven’t gotten a single King slime. I’m getting 200-500K off liquids and regular slimes so it’s not too bad. I’ve gone from level 50-70in a few hours. I haven’t beaten the game yet I hate finishing a game without the best equipment so I’ve been grinding to beat the luminary trials in the lowest turns

I've seen that Vicous monsters give more exp than regular variants according to the in-game bestiary, so I asum Malicous ones give even more. Are there any Malicious Metal King Slimes anywhere in the game?

the spook who sat by the door. Powell Same. Level 2, room all the way on the right with 2 king cure slimes. Kill them and their buddies and go out and in after they die to reset them. Almost 10k for easy kills and occasionally a king metal will be with them.

Except in postgame 1 hand sword and shield is better. Erdwins shield is too good to pass up and besides Erik is the real damage dealer in the game.
