It’s no really a trick but guess the very first three, and if you get 2 correct items (even if the correct placed item is 0), try to pick from the three you’ve just chosen and pick another new one. Sometimes you’ll get lucky and find the third one right away or after a few tries and you just have to figure out the proper placement for them. If not, just keep on clicking the reset button (bottom left of the mini game) and it will give you another set of items and placements, which you can try to get 2 items right first then try to analyze the next ones.

There might be a chance that the game will bring it back tho. I assume you used Memu, its graphical glitch and cant be really be fixed. I used LD bc that wasnt only graphical glitched I experience with Memu and it really effected how did game look.
