Shit, I use the stones every time I've gotta either take an NPC from A to B or an object. Works every time. Easy peasy.

8:10 don’t bother looking for them. Just repeatedly hire level 2 pawns with the “travel for 2 days” item quests and rest on a bench over and over and you’ll get TONS of wakestones for free with zero effort.

Escort quests for the RIGHT people are the best quests in the game. You get allheal elixirs, ferrystones, wakestones etc. And you get some of the best action imaginable or it is just an easy walk there for 10 minutes. e.g. Eini after completing the mage/sorc maister skill quest just wants to go to Melve (10min walk) and rewards you with an allheal elxir (worth 10k gold in shop). On the other had Beren rewards some crap BUT his path leads by an Chimera, possible Golem, several small mobs and finishes in front of Dragon. And Beren will DESTROY them :) Don't forget, the real reward comes from the presents at your house, not at the end of the escort mission (which is always RC+flowers). The endgame works differently. If you do all the beams except the last one that appears after clearing the initial beams you get 10 rests. If you die you don't loose, you have to start the endgame again from the start. If your loss gauge is low, drink an allheal elixir. This means allheal+wakestones are the only hardcap. I started endgame with 50+ wakestones and 20+ allheal, having ample resources to fight all the new monsters and find most of the hidden armors.

7:35 this is how you get bored quicker. Changing up your playstyle can introduce you to new things or show you how some vocations are weaker/stronger against certain foes. You already know people are just gonna play as a makeshift Thief and never experience the fun of Warrior, Archer, Mystic Spearhand and so on.

I didn't know that if you die in the unmoored world you start back to when you arrived. I died on purpose to go to title screen. Bad idea

For me, comparing this to the first game. Its much more easier to fell the monsters here than in the first especially on hard mode the smaller monsters are irritating.

Not ensnare. Use smoke bomb. You can stun groups and then insta kill groups. You can forge eternal wakestones.

It's faster to level up each vocation separately than it is to use Warfarer. By a LOT. I tried using warfarer, and got ONE rank up in each vocation (I had two left) after about 4 hours. When I leveled them individually, I was able to max them both out in 3 hours. I don't know if it's a bug, or there's some kind of penalty, but individual leveling is the way to go. I bought the mansion when I had basically nothing else to buy. Still had $600K left over. But yes, the mansion is useless.

If you think about it if you get an fighter npc to escort that's another party member and they have some decent health

I found the waterfall cave when I was like level 10 and couldn't beat the lich. So I thought "maybe these spell books I just found are the key to beating him". I was a mage... Luckily I started watching videos and there was a second chance to get them later and making forgeries work for the maister skills.
