12 in game rests is the amount youre given, if you do all beacons and activate the gigantus the mist will no longer move, however, if you used your rests youll run out of chances to rest and to save. Time does not pass by just being active, the passive passage of time is frozen, however, if you dont exhaust your rests you can save manually all you want, i spent around 15+ hours just farming endgame materials for upgrades and never had the mist even move, if i had to heal i either used an allheal elixir or died and used a wakestone. I only rested when my main pawn was low on max health (less than 30%) and for the additional pawns I just dissmiss and summon more. In my time on the unmoored world I rested only 8 times, but manually saved hundreds of times, i had time to level from 46 to 67, get 4 vocations to max (all mix vocations), and to finish farming most of the wyrmcrystals i was missing, the only reason I finished and went into ng+ is because I collected every exclusive unmoored world chest item (That I knew of), I used 7 allheal elixirs and 10 wakestones. My recomendation is do all evacuations and before resting at all and then enjoy :D Edit: This is the 3rd time ive written this but youtube keeps not posting my response so ill edit the OC in hope everybody that asked will see it Update on the Unmoored exclusive items I found -Agamenian Galea (Best Helmet for Warrior, best Defence and knockback resistence in the entire game, good for warfarer min maxing too) -Vanguarder's Greaves (Best fighter and warrior legs, same reasons for the Agamenian Galea) -Conqueror's Sabatons -Hood of Darkness -Predator's Maw -Promethean Hood -Monarch's Crown -Assassin's Breeches -Dominator's Armor Please understand the lack of explanations or information but its really tiring that youtube just keeps deleting the text walls I write to try and convey everything correctly, only the ones with descriptions are better than the dragonforged store items from my experimenting and research

So even if the mist does not move anymore, you cannot rest more than 12 times total after triggering the end game? I guess the mystic spear would be the best if you don't plan to rest. You have full team invincible with 100% up time. Just go 2 sorc and 1 thief or warrior to stun the enemy I think

Hey Vankrul, i have already 230 wyrmcristals, is this enough crystals to have before triggering the endings? Also, how often u get ferrystones in the unmoored worlds? And you recommend dealing first with the beacons or evacuating first the towns?

​@@Tollgrinder282 You get a mass of wyrm crystals for doing the beacons. You're gonna need more than that to get everything for just one vocation. I did the beacons first to stop any progression, and now am doing the evacuations only rested once so far.

@@Tollgrinder282 If you just want a single set you'll be fine, if my memory doesnt fail me a full set + weapon is 230 wyrmcrystals (20/70/30+110) with the exception of the shield for fighter which is an extra 40. You get a lot of crystals from clearing the beacons, if I'm not mistaken a total of 400 to 500 (might be less might be more). I always did the evacuation first then the beacon of the area, I didn't do it in any specific order though, bakbatthal evacuation + beacon, volcanic camp evac + gigantus, excavation site evac, elves evac + weapon, vermund evac + beacon. In that order, but don't feel to stressed about the WyrmCrystals, the total for all sets and weapons is nearing 2000, but you can get them on Ng+ with the dragonforged without any pressure. The only reason to really go into unmoored is to get the exclusive secret armor pieces which are in chests in previously flooded/lake areas, for example the "Agamenian Galea" for warriors. So you might want to go do the evacs and beacons, then search those locations, after all that you can leisurely farm and explore to your heart's desire and finish the unmoored world on the last beacon unlocked in seabed shrine Sorry for text wall btw :/

Just an fyi for anyone doing this. You don’t have to crawl all the way to the dragons heart, you can be on his back still and use godsbane. Just need to be far enough forward (about where the heart would be)

I didn't bring Disa to Sven. Instead I brought him the Orante box you helped him get for her, then he found a note inside of it from Disa and in there she explained she did everything to keep Sven safe and they are happy and leave together.

A couple things. The clouds don't actually move in at all, the only thing that's timed is clearing the red beam bosses before the towns get destroyed and there's a 10 days limit for resting. After 10 days the game won't let you use an inn or a bed anymore. But the game doesn't end when you get there, you basically have infinite time on the last day you just can't rest to get health back. Also, if you choose to kill Disa first the ox cart guy just says ok sure no problem, Sven gets mad at you but it doesn't change anything. Before you actually finish I recommend exploring around the shoreline roads, you can get a crap load of ferrystones very easily for ng+.

I didn’t do any of the elves quest on my first playthrough but you can still evacuate them. If you go up to the leader he will say something along the lines of not leaving and staying in the arbor. But if you keep talking to him after like the 5th time he will cave in and decide to evacuate. You just have to annoy him a bit. 😂

FYI, people are just now getting to explore this world and it’s actually endgame progression, not just a fluff ending. There’s dedicated bosses all over the waterbeds that drop unique items higher tier than the dragon forged sells. DO NOT rush this area! Go explore and it’s like a whole new world to do. I’m trying to find the full warrior set and so far only found a chest piece that is excellent for resistances.

There aren't full sets. There are one or two pieces of armor and no weapons. The dragon forged weapons are the best weapons in game when fully upgraded. For Tricksters there's a helm, for magic archer there's a chest piece. Warrior and fighter and the only vocations with multiple pieces. But it's not a full set.

@@2ELI7E I spent last night exploring each waterbed and think I exhausted what could be found. I think you’re right that there’s no weapons and for armor it was an odd mix that made no sense tbh. Like some items were on boss monsters and some just chilling in a chest. Also extremely odd choice to put a mage staff as a seeker reward, which would push players to keep a mage pawn. Haven’t been able to compare stats to the dragon forged staff yet so it might be trash anyway.

Bruh, when you had no idea what to do once you climbed towards the dragons chest when you first started riding him. I legit climbed on his stomach, and I’m like “that’s interesting, we’re both glowing”, I didn’t know what to do. And then in the end credits, you talk to the ghost guy, and he’ll restart the fight, I fought the dragon three times. Each time I was looking for something different, now I’m on new game +. 😂

I can finally watch this video after taking the plunge to progress the story. I was having fun making sure to do every quest i found, taking escort trips with my buddies that I'm doing this at lvl 67. It's nice too because since I've buddied up with everyone my quest have been "you should evacuate" with the leaders "ok I trust you". Though I'm still seriously debating on killing Phaesus for pulling his stunt and consider his arrogance a danger to the people.

I defeated the outer red beacons first and did all the evacuations at the same time. After everything was done I did the one in Bakbattahl last. It seemed to have stopped the red mist from shrinking in everything. I also didn’t need to rest (second playthrough) so I was able to do more stuff in the unmoored world then.

When you go into NG+ all your Portcrystals will be put into your storage box and have to be replaced. In the Endgame all placed Portcrystals will stay where you put them.

@@Jsobonefrom what I’ve gathered from other comments, if you take out the vernsworth boss, the elvish city one then Talos the red mist stops moving in and then the rests are your only limit. So save all heals for healing and don’t use all 12(I think) rests and you can stay in there indefinitely. I haven’t tried I accidentally went right through the last boss battle without watching the last 60 seconds of this video but gonna speed run main quest to get back there lol

Highfive with your pawn, each time +5, has cooldown of like 10minutes. 3. Go to the hot spring, each time +10, has cooldown of like 10minutes. 4. Go to the barber , each time +50, has cooldown of like 10minutes. 5. Btw, upon main pawn death favorability will -25 each time Max Affinity is 620. Also there dialogue will start to change a little, and they will blush sometimes. If you have to kill them because Dragon Aids make sure you take them to the Hot Springs.

I played a good portion of the game as a warrior and for some reason I get stunlocked constantly here in the endgame. I cant do one attack because I keep getting hit and my character just gets beaten up without me being able to move away or attack😂

I actually despise that Unmoored World has a time limit. Not a great choice imo Edit: The Dragonforged sells GOOD weapons, but not the best. I did a lot of testing, and they fall behind every other option in terms of damage and knockdown, and it really disappoints me to see people spread the misconception that the weapons he sells are the best. But they certainly look sick, and are perfectly passable if you want to use them, especially since Wyrmslife crystals are much easier to get in that stage of the game than they were previously. That being said, I see a lot of misinformation about him selling the best gear, when it's not 100% accurate to say so.

That’s odd. Can you share a few that you tested? The wiki has a lot of stats now, I looked at daggers for example and the dragons vein has about 20% more strength than the framae. Sorcerer staves 730 as opposed to 627. Could you be mistaken?

Best unmoored guide, sleep in the shack for 12 days get the closing credits go into new game+. Save, quit out, delete off hard drive and play other better games til they hopefully sort the game out! Maybe play Dark Arisen til they sort it!

5:05-5:13 according to a video completely dedicated to this fight, i believe it's called the Chaos Serpent. now, here's my question - which i already asked a few times (in hopes of someone who knows): what is it? it could be a *"Serpent",* a reptilian monster that's suppoed to be in the game; so far, however, nothing about it has been added to the Wiki - particularly the image. the Chaos Serpent is basically a large snake, and has "Serpent" in the name. yes it breathes fire (5:18), but there's also the Hellhounds from DD1, which spit fireballs. but then there's the fact that it drops Wyrmslife Crystals. we have the Drake and the Lesser Dragon, but there's a 3rd monster that drops them: one called a *"Nex."* so, which one is the Chaos Serpent? a mutated Serpent, or a mutated Nex? evidence pointing towards the former are the creature's appearance and name. the fire breath may not be a factor, as - again - we have the Hellhounds from DD1. evidence pointing towards the latter is the fact that it drops Wyrmslife Crystals, so the Chaos Serpent could be a mutated Nex. Chaos Serpent aside, has *anyone* ever met a Serpent or Nex? because i'm being driven mad by the *UTTER CONFUSION* this give me! please, i want to know what they look like. because a giant, fire-breathing snake NEEDS to be a normal monster in the regular game, roaming around Vermund and Battahl. *side note:* to the Conan the Barbarian fans, notice how the snake is a recurring antagonistic figure? Serpent, Nex - whichever; any Conan fan playing as a Fighter or Warrior could fulfill their barbarian fantasy by using gear that could fit in the Conan universe (like the Battahli Targe) and slay that super-sized snake with scorching breath!

Just in context, I went through the other 2 endings already, my pawn and my character is already lvl 80. i think only on boss mob is given in the unmoored, the white lich. The rest are found in the normal world. Also the skelly lord are in set spots in the unmoored (never saw one in the reg world). Edit: not saying the lords are not in the regular world, just never saw one, but thanks. some points: If Allard was dealt with before the unmoored, you don't need to scare him, as he is dead/gone. For Talos, you need to restart Talos if you did not get "The Hero" achievement.

The skeleton lords show up in several locations (Like graveyards) but you gotta go at night, also some dungeons. Forager pawns show you the locations on the map.

Skeleton Lords (Fell Lords) do appear in the regular game. I know there's one in "Tomb of Ja'Nuwa", southwest of Balbattahl, to the right of the roadnear where the road splits, leading to Dragonsbreath Tower or Drabnir's Grotto. The Fell Lord drops a nice mask/crown for Sorcerers, and you can find the "Ring of Recitation" behind a breakable wall. This ring is great, reduces cast time for spells by 25%, but reduces your health quiet a bit. While wearing it, I go from 1666 health to 1323, which is a difference of about 300-ish.

If you are a sorc the red beacon bosses get melted by maelstrom. For the couple escort you can ferrystone if you have a beacon there.

fyi, everything rots in your storage/inventory when you get to the unmoored world so better craft/use it before you lose it :/ rip 2 medusa heads.

Yea you can save at the seaside shrine anytime. Just go there pause menu and save game. Sorry for late reply just saw your comment.

The volcanic mining town was the first to go for me, then I got scared, and I beat all of the content in one day. I don’t recommend it, was so risky. 😅

Well i was following your guide, and got to excavation site, killed the golem. The guard wont give me a quest to free people. Did you miss a step in your guide? Do i need to go to the seafloor shrine first?

You can rest at your home or an inn 12 times. Yes, you can manually save. However... once you run out of those 12 inn rests, you can no longer manually save. It's do or die at that point.

By the sounds of it, as long as you still have seats available, you can still manually save.

I went to the final, and I kept getting burned up by the true endgame dragon. I couldn’t even reach the front of the dragon. He always slid me to his wings and then I just die and it keeps saying you can start seven days back or when you first come in basically I was stuck in a loop had to start all over after 100 hours so sad almost quit the game

god damn it, i had to restart all my progress in the Unmoored world because fucking Mennella decided not to show up. that is bullshit. FYI: i want to make the stupid decision that i made use the gods way blade on Ur self and and don't use wake stone. after that you will have the option either start from the last inn save or from the very beginning. you welcome, don't hate me for it though.

Im in NG+ now, but if i had my time again i would be a thief with pilfer, and have a pawn with pilfer to maximise your WLC acquisition. Thief would also work amazing on the type of enemies you fight there.
