Had a thief pawn miss a jump over deep water and the next minute my main pawn said "It's been some time since we had a thief, eh?". Like damn, I don't use bridges, but you don't have to read my like that.

my first encounter with a griffin was unreal. I see it attacking oxen in front of vernworth and, ofc, I make a mad dash towards the sucker (I’m like level 12-13 atp). we’re doing pretty well and as I’m on top of its head, wailing on it, it decides to try and bail. it starts soaring through the sky and I’m there, holding onto its head for dear life, stamina running low, when I see a body of water coming up. I jam a bomb into its head, wait until it’s over the water, and BAM. we both go nosediving into the brine instantly killing it. being the swag arisen i am, immediately respawn on dry land with no issue, and 7,000 xp in tow. a game has not made me feel this fucking cool in a long time lol.

I did a similar thing. While trying to get the Magick Archer vocation early, I was ambushed by a griffin near some cliffs. I whittled down one of its health bars and it tries to fly away just after I shot an explosive arrow into it. As it flies off over the water the arrow explodes and the griffin falls into it 😂

This happened to me. I avoided looking things up before release and had no idea the griffin would take off mid fight. I was shocked and started laughing. I also was a thief, planted a bomb and we both went down in front of the city. This game is awesome.

for any of the capital castle stuff, you can just put on marchers armor (chest, legs,(Helmet i believe is optional)) and no one will bother you. you can explore the entire castle. i even went into the queens room with her inside and talked to her with no issue. I believe the Beastren mask works the same way but i havent tested. There is also a thieves mask which may also work the same way with bandits. How cool would it be to find a secret bandit camp where you can access shops and quests by wearing a disguise.

For the gryphon nest in misty marshes: You can approach it from the road south of it outside misty marshes. This not only lets you climb up to the nest, but also has a seekers token you cant access if you approach the nest from the marsh.

For me its the time my main pawn threw a rock at a gryphon as it was taking off, it staggered, and fell off into the brine. Another time, my main pawn was a fighter and I was a thief and we encountered a single goblin, he ran at it, jumped on it, pinned it down, and I leaped into it with twin fang and instantly killed it. When the "fight" concluded, he high fived me like we beat a dragon or something

Haven't checked comments to see if anyone else said this, but fun fact for the first one (the vault): You don't even NEED the key. Just throw a barrel from the kitchen upstairs at the guard in front of the door. When she runs at you, grab her and carry her partly up the stairs, then book it back to the door. It'll be unlocked and you can just run right through. I did this when I had the key, and it was still in my inventory. The description for the key says it breaks after a use, so it didntget used

I changed my vocation to bow. And my pawn was an archer also. Ran into a group of huge orcs. Gawd I wished I didn't switch😂. That group literally mollywhopped the shit out of me and my pawn😂 I was getting stomped on and kicked while in the ground. This game is great

I finally ran into the griffin 😂 me being Leroy Jenkins ran up mounted it thought I was going good it literally took off flying so high so fast stamina running low I'm panicking then bam stamina gone haven't die yet but I'm heading towards the ground I'm thinking that's it then right before I hit the ground my pawn catches me 😂 it was beautiful just for the griffin to dive bomb us both & end everything 😂😂😂 I'm loving this game

Just found the darkening bow last night for my Zelda archer pawn! Funny moment: I started out on my very first quest with my two new pawns and as soon as we reached the bridge I heard one fall straight into the water and just had to watch her die 😅😂

When I went to the vault the first time it was around '1-2 pm' in the afternoon, where the sun in the menu is in the upper right corner. I was wearing the marcher's armor but even then the guard wasn't even there, so i went right in got the loot and left. I don't think it was a gltch because he didn't just load in / magically appear after I left the room. So maybe going there at different times of day can do away with the barrel thing

Damn I already messed up my game I didn’t know you couldn’t load a saved game. I was still at the beginning but I had turned it off come back and it put me in a spot I had already passed so I get out pick the last save game and took me back to the beginning. Still having a blast though.🤘🙄🖤

If you use the daughter shield from the vault and block while the medusa is using it's vision attack you will reflect it and make it petrify itself.

One of my Pawns dove off a cliff, missed the cart of hay beneath and un-alived themselves.. followed by a second Pawn hellbent on helping.. He also missed. Then my Main Pawn, my bright and shining best boi decided to help and dove off the same cliff... On that note: I learned that there is an achievement for reviving multiple Pawns at once.

I got lucky with the vault and didnt need to use the key i got for it apparently the queen walks in at night and leaves the door unlocked so you can walk in just dont let her catch you or youll end up in jail

I never needed to use the beastren mask to get through the gate. I only used the permit, maybe it was because I was wearing the face mask you get from Brant for the masquerade quest. But I don’t know for sure if that effected anything

It's the way you do it if you don't take the secret crossing or do the maim story to the point of entering. Playing as a beastren is also lets you bypass this option

My dumb self got rid of the makeshift key I think so the twin blade is one I’ll either miss or have to pay an absurd amount of money for. And my thief is already max vocation so I won’t be using daggers. I may make my main pawn one so I can get the strength augment to make my warrior pawn even stronger

Literally had my extra pawn grabbed by an ogre and it jumped into the water were they both died as I watched them sink into brine and in shock as I didn't realize that could happen sat there for a min like wtf.

@@Merik2013 i asked the same question: some people said it didn't work, others answered me with something else. i was planning on getting the Marcher's set in the castle well first, because of the Expeditioner's Cloak for my pawn. now that i know i can fool the guard, i can take advantage of it. though... do you still need the Makeshift Vault Key, or does the guard just let you in? either way, thank you.

I really don't get the part where you talk about throwing a barrel to distract thr guard. I threw like 3 at them and they just shrugged it off and told me to leave. How the fick are people making this work?

Throw the barrel at her, she will charge you. When she is near grab her and carry her away, like to the kitchen area. Run back and loot the vault.
