I don't think there's a pattern? It looks more to me like A = B = C = A. I make a table, write down the results for each vocation, then take my happy highlighter and mark the piece out of each row that I want. I've a few logs now. I haven't noticed a solid pattern in my results. Yet, I shutter to think if I didn't use this method- how long it'd take to get the gear I want. You posted 2 mos ago, but you may still be working at this, especially for augments in armor. I figured I'd say something. Happy hunting!

Chart at 22:22 might be the most useful part of the video. At the least the BBI 3 weapon lists are sorta okay, unlike purifying tier 2 armors, which is undiluted non fun due how many slots are eaten by Dragonwing Boots/Gloves/Capes/ and whatnot

Yes, exactly that. It is not 13 per se. 13 is what I needed in this video. You can do this after 12 (or 10 and just focus on Red and Yellow since there are only 2 in Blue) for first try if you were ultimately lucky and got them all in minimal possible. Who knows, it might take 14 or 15 as well. All depends on luck of your draw You will get table something like this kzbin.info/www/bejne/fZLVYqp3iZ6fiLM Here you will see if you have them all and more importantly how to change vocations so you don't accidentally choose something that later comes in different combination, where the weapon you should've chosen never came up again It is probably easiest to do if you help yourself with something like LibreOffice Calc or Excel. Write results in columns and then just color cells for your purification path

Only if you are interested in finishing the quest with 13 fabled bbi armors where you need to gather various pieces. This method will not help with armors since all 3 choices will be the same. Only difference is that it is class color defined into which piece it purifies, but it will be the same for all. If you get glove... you will get glove no matter how you purify

I forgot to say something, enchantments are the only worthwhile thing about those armors. If it weren't for those I most probably never would use them, Especially the yellow which lacks out on sleep completely which condemns you to exact 3 other parts: brigandine jerkin, harpy cloak and iron bandings Without enchantments, it would be more or less same kind of disappointing as Abyssinal. At least looks wise

That is why I say, try 5 times and abandon your hope for first decent result. Next time you enter the location chest will swap the chance and it might just show on first one

Things that will speed up your run: master reset to cancel animations and hiding behind debris during daimon' vortex so you can shoot over it.

First off, do not take this harshly, I already went over this exact same thing more than few times now. So, I might sound a bit sarcastic because of that past where questions are genuine ;) And which skill do I sacrifice for something as useless as Instant Reset to maybe gain few frames? ;) Instant Reset is all cool for Ranger which has no dagger skills, for Strider it is a waste of useful slot. The first chance of thinking maybe using it would be if I had 7 or 8 possible dagger skill slots. With any less, I wouldn't even consider it as option when compared to usability of other skills Instant Reset is a crutch skill meant to compensate for your mistakes. If you don't do mistakes, skill is pointless and in later shown Daimon (link in this post) fight I get more than all the possible frames gained by all Resets during running back with 4 Soaring Stone jumps only and then some more You don't need to hide behind debris. Hailstorm can be aimed even behind pillar. I am just not that in the hurry so much as I prefer relaxing game You could always take this approach kzbin.info/www/bejne/lX3Jdnxmi516nZI . In tips videos I usually show kills that are doable and repeatable by anyone without trying to require ultimate masters of the game to be only able to repeat it. If I showed this strategy as how it should be done, I doubt everyone would be able to follow it. I think you agree that targeting tip to beginners makes more sense than targeting it towards those who are already doing it But, the real problem of what you suggest is that you make it really, really straining once you start going for pixels and frames.

wh1sper 123 doesn't soaring stone give you the same height as a double jump? You could switch that out for reset. I just like it cuz you can cancel anything, from a roll from running while jumping to being staggered by an enemy attack. I like it

Nope, nope and nope ;) 1. Soaring Stone is best skill Strider has. Crazy massive upgrade upon old and mediocre Stone. In fact I would argue that Soaring Stone is probably most versatile skill in whole game by far. It is the only skill in the game that has offensive, defensive, evasive and movement extensons and then some. And more so, it is a skill intended to be combined and complemented with others. You can as well even say it is a skill that you can emulate shield which is much better than shields it self in many things 2. It is much faster than double jump 3. It is quite a bit higher than double jump, but they fixed it so it isn't as high as Leaping Stone which was too high and that made it really questionable 4. You can double jump out of it for more height. You cannot double jump out of double jump. Instant Reset is for Strider one of most mediocre skills, why would I ever want that? If you don't get hit, you don't need to reset anything. Why would you even cancel rolls. If you time and measure them perfectly, they will take you exactly where you need to be. As I already said, Instant Reset is a crutch skill for those who didn't invest time to perfect evasion timings and need a baby wheels on their bike Before Soaring Stone came into picture, I never used Stone skill. And neither did I use Reset. Things like Implicate/Mad Dash/Master Thief were just so much better and more useful And things like being knocked down can be reset other ways. One is for example going in inventory and switch bow or dagger, which resets you the same way. How long did it take to get to that bbi area with a fresh character? The first game got erased. Not sure how far I got past the beholder wannabe before the restart. Looking to get the carrion armor. Maybe the grave armor set. I defiantly want the carrion claws. Heard all of that is possible pre or post-diamon.

If you want to play a strength-based character the fastest way to get to 200 is to look up the video on how to max level really fast. That should get you started pretty quickly and when you get to the second form you can just Farm the gear and weapons if you wanted to make a second account to do a Magic based character. You might want to rent the second account character that way the guy can get some Rift crystals pretty early then you can send back cursed weapons and armor for him to purify

So I just recently started playing this again and am doing the second run through BBI. I’m having difficulties killing bosses even at my current level of 154. I did 140 levels of sorcerer and am playing as magic archer now but none of the bosses take damage. My magic damage is about 1400. Do I have to kill bosses to proceed through the areas or can I just collect the void keys and pass the bosses?

If you already killed him once and are running through the island a second time then all of the boss doors should already be open and you can just skip them and go to second form oh, good luck though sounds like you don't have enough damage going on because your weapons aren't up to par. As you saw in this video though there are a few locations besides killing bosses to get weapon level three

Here I am level 200, but that doesn't really play any role in this game. Level or how you leveled up is more or less irrelevant which is something which I am trying to show with most of my videos. I can deal with enemies the same at low levels. That jump is with Soaring Stone Skill (Leaping Stone ring skill). One of the bests skills in the game, combine with Brain Spliter for bring the hell for your enemies.

Godsbaning, if you don't get it in 5 times just take the outcome you get No, but they change how much time it takes you to farm. With G/S you only need to kill maybe one Siren, if they are not there then you have to kill through pawns, hellhounds and strigoi just to be able to farm chest Something like that, yes ;) Although, when you're low level Fish can at least be used on Daimon Vortex

BTW do you know if it's possible to steal from Eliminators? The wikia page says you can, but i can't seem to find a way.. they list petrification as possible debilitation, but still that doesn't let you steal from them and when they've turned to stone, they just shatter... (and i know i should take the info on that page with a grain of salt ... just want to check if i'm not doing it right or if they're wrong. ^^)

Neither does frozen. I really have no clue on that because what was listed as steal option was not worth bothering with. They are immune to sleep or blind. Petrification/Frozen/Knocked down does not allow Thief. The only way I can see being able to steal is if pawn/you would grab on them while being knocked down like ogre. In case of you grabbing you would need Strider pawn with Master Thief and shitload of luck, while pawns grabbing on Eliminators is something I have yet to see. When I need Eliminator parts I just go and rampage through the Fallen City. Chilling Razors, FTW

No, it doesn't do anything like that. One effect you have is to be able to use Exilaration/Equanimity power boosts when HP hits red. But, for me more important part was just additional thrill where I upped the otherwise boring run into "one hit dead" challenge. As simple as that As far as climbing, that one is Strider specific and I show it in this video really extensively kzbin.info/www/bejne/n2rOcoSXi7WosLM If you miss things like not knowing about things like that, I would really suggest you watch both videos in that playlist no matter if you like vocations or not. Main drive for making those two videos was showing to most people that once they think they know the vocation and made up their mind about whether they like it or not... maybe, there is more to it

Strider In BBI especially Strider is the fastest by far. There are so many jump shortcuts there and those are Strider exclusive. You can see what I mean in my "Strider vocation after BBI" video

Just look my playlists and search for "Low level FULL OUT (vocation)" and select Gazer. He is really easy as you can beat him without weapons. You can even beat him without gaining experience by making him suicide. Here is me killing him at level 5. This is for people who want challenge, so instead of waiting out that last hit you can just kill him kzbin.info/www/bejne/aHO8lYJ-Yrurh5Y As much as it seems confusing to you probably when fighting him. If you were careful you'd know that his attacks are not random, they follow exact same pattern every time (just spell type can change). So, your queue is to wait until he does gaze which will be immediately followed by tentacle. You could as well just repeat this until the end and not use one single throwblast Once you see the pattern, doing exact same thing at very low level will not be a problem anymore As strider, he lasts less than 30 seconds if you know how kzbin.info/www/bejne/n2rOcoSXi7WosLM and this can also be done at extreme low level with help of periapts and vim ;)

Trick with that damage is going full out with magic augments and knowing which element you need to use. I boost it with Autonomy, Aquity and Equanimity. Perma enchanted weapons have static damage. Only thing that applies is your gear, augments and weapon. You can do exact same damage at low level

Magick augments don't just increase your own core magic but increase permanently Enchanted weapon magic damage? I'm sorry if this sounds like such a "of course "question , but I actually didn't know this.

I would expand that. Not capcom, japanese games are all doomed with same curse. The only exception here for me is Kojima It is like they can't see past the first impression. I will acknowledge something, first time it look cool and funny as these things almost always do. I mean they usually pack a lot of originality. The only problem they fail to see is that what they make is like same best joke... funny as hell the first time you hear it, but it gets more and more annoying each next time you hear it since you already know the kicker. And it is even worse in case of games, not only you have to listen to that joke, you have to pedal its progress as well

To be honest though isn't that the same with any game that requires massive grinding to acquire the best gear? World of Warcraft, Monster Hunter, Diablo 3? This is an inescapable aspect of weapon and armor gear based off of randomness upon drop or identification. Unless you're saying that he should not godsbane and reset over and over and it's Dad should just take what he gets at face value. I mean if you have the time in your life to play games like that then more power to you I wish I had that kind of time but it's a waste of time unfortunately for those who don't have that much freedom.
