Idk if I’d call her mid this early. Just a week ago everyone was saying Rain was bottom 5 and now he’s S tier. Not saying Kitana is up there but both Foxy and Sonic have both said Kitana is AT LEAST High A+ if not S. I’d listen to them…

If a kameos is good at all, it will work with any character. Literally all of them can be used the exact same way no matter who you use. Kitana a zoner? Well now she has unblockable setups, safe strings, and huge combos just like everyone else!

​@Lancer1369 you are absolutely right. I main Rain and I use multiple Kameos depending on who I match up with and how I want to fight. Except for Shujinko. But even he is good for certain things. Like fighting Kenshi for example. I just haven't practiced it yet.

I use Jax all the time with Kitana. He's the best Kameo for her. Sonya is another Kameo that works well with Kitana.

The interesting thing to me about Dragon is that in every fighting game I've seen him play, he chooses the characters that I would choose everytime. Soulcalibur- Ivy, MK11- Cetrion, MK1- Ashrah. If he chooses Jun in Tekken 8 then our taste in characters are exactly the same.

4:25 I think that is an interesting strategy in how to diversify each one, for example, ashrah’s one is SLOW and there are not many conversions to it compared to the short and fast Lao one, that variation makes the existence of it dangerous. I do think it is a bit scrubby since you can throw it with breaker and have almost no issue, but it is nice to know that if you meaty well vs most of the cast you are good

Exactly having a FB that reaches like that just takes certain options away if your opponent has the reaction time. I also don't like the do something stupid into breaker my friend caught on quick to that idea. It's like having breaker makes your offense stronger. Which feels a little weird.

@@balloonbunny-371 in most situations I think it is cool, cuz it add layers but for this specific situation it is not, maybe have it as your Kameo is on the screen and unavailable so you can’t breaker or something like that would be cool

You know, Dragon has a rep for zoning, but you see him use pressure with Kitana, I main kitana as well, and she not a great zoner, she’s average at best, great to see this high level kitana play, and of course, honeybee, your reptile is top

@@Chabells_MKShe’s ok, but she can be easily out zoned, happens to me as a kitana main, she’s best mid range, you have to play really good footsies for her to be effective, wait for an opening to punish because she has no real mix, she has no true overhead to keep people honest, you can just crouch block against her, so if you play as her, you have to really know her frames and be patient, her damage is pretty good though even without a cameo

I’ve improved a lot in such a small amount of time cause of Honey B. Also for reptile mains until we get a buff I learned a easy 300+ combo if you far assist scorpion after the bnb 2 and 3 launch hit you can air combo for a easy 300 everytime which was weird to be because it seems like the longer ones do less sometimes. Buff please lol

Reptile still has 40 percent combos no meter with Sonya… honestly the highest damage kameo for reptile imo… can easily hit a 45 percent combo with her only 1 kameo use and one meter..

I hate giving out my combos but us reptile mains aren’t a high commodity atm… here’s one of them no meter.. forward 23, into forward 23, into your jumping 12, call in Sonya right as your second air attack hits, follow that into your forward 32, into the gator roll… easy 41 percent

Wouldn’t that just give away that you’re doing an overhead? The opponent can react to Scorpion coming out. They can’t react to you when you’re invisible.

This is what I noticed. The setup is nice once in a while, but homie wasn't breaking 25% damage on average, while Kitana player was doing 35% to 40%. I think Scorpion might be scaling his combo damage.

From what I can tell block the ground pound rather than the kitana 9 times out of ten when you block high for any reason the ground pound can lead into a combo. So blocking low in the set up will let you take Jax’s damage instead. Rather then eating a full combo from an unblockable setup

That stupid fatal blow going that far have dragon the second match such bull range in those fatals for real. It's clear honeybee is a better player, he has to win the neutral over and over to get a round n Kiana touches you 2x n it's chipped to death from there. Ridiculous. Wish they would buff reptiles damage, instead they nerf his invisibility like if he needed nerfs lol. It's not a buff making the meter burned one slightly better. Ridiculous.

"What's that about?" Well the game went from a competitive fighter to full screen fatals and kameos. For the kasuals. Couldn't be any more clear. Breaker cost 3 bars in a game where you can get 2 touched, kameos extend combos for free and save all blockstrings. Couldn't be anymore casual. Maybe if kameos cooldown increased, and breaker dropped to 2 bars this game would have a chance. A sign that a fighting game is catered more to casual players. It heavily favors offense and turning your brain off to decision making. Its like you were winning? Well every character gets a scrubby comeback mechanic with fatals and every character is the same. We here at NRS want all characters to be 100 percent identical in the way you play them in mk1.
