No, although it does incorporate some of the other techniques from such other animal styles of Kung Fu, it is in an of itself a separate form. Actually... I think that the Dragon IS one of the 5 main styles... At least I thought it is.

@xZerocopyx both yes and no. The classical 5 animals are Tiger, Panther, Dragon, Crane and Snake (in that order). Dragon does incorporate elements from the other 4 but it is a style in itself, and its a VERY high level skill, pressure points, breaking bones, psychology and so on. It looks very coiling and is very mysterious. Monkey is often taught within many 5 animal styles (where you combine the 5 and switch as you se fit), like Horse, Bear, Eagle and others. Mantis fist is a complete system.

@TingSingChiKung No it's not. It's just not common. We have some here in Chicago that descended from the Triads who came here and set up shop in the 1930s

Are you saying dancers don't put feeling into their moves? I'm sure you know that's not true and didn't think about the statement too much so no biggie. With regards to this guy on video, generally when practicing the forms passion isn't key, fluidity and accuracy are the name of the game. But I have to admit, if your trying to show off to people, as with dance, put some effort in U__U'
