Bl4ckSh33p Budokai 3 hit the sweet spot of being a good fighter and apealling to fans with stuff like dragon rush and beam struggles. Only other close one was Tenkaichi 3 which was polished as heck.

+Sora Kazama and infinite world was the worst of the Budokai series. it literally removed all the things that made budokai 3 great. no beam struggles or hyper mode. as bad as it was it still beats burst limit. burst limit had serious flaws in its input output system. I can remember pressing X button four or five times before finally teleporting. unless they designed it that way on purpose if not then the game is in need of some serious patch work. in infinite world I would only press X once and I could teleport no problem. plus it had cool defensive counter offensive options that other budokai games did not have like dragon dash power guard and aura spark which allowed absorption of strikes which was very useful for melee combat. but other than that the game ducked because they got rid of the really exciting features like beam struggle and hyper mode and dragon rush. though I can do without dragon rush since it was always a gamble and you could never connect the really cool moves at the end of the rush which made dragon rush stupid and a waste of time

I just wanted to let you know that I'm planning to do a video which will include outtakes and fails from this serie. In this video I will showcase all those clashes that have been heavily requested (father son vs perfect, super vs perfect, black kame rose vs black kame, etc..) but that unfortunately DON'T collide at all. It won't be as spectacular and as good to watch as the video about collisions, but at least it will satisfy a lot of requests that have been made over the past 2 months. Samuel TM I've played B1, B2, B3, BT1, BT2, BT3, Battle of Z, Tag Team, and others. I'm not a BT3 fanboy, you are. Xenoverse 2 has the best graphics, the best battle mechanics, character creation and customization, characters that are not in BT3, only with mod, high quality Cutscenes. After that, I know DBX2 really is the best Db game, everyone who says that BT3 is the best, just say it for nostalgia or anything, everyone is blinded by nostalgia. When I played BT3 I liked it a lot, for me it was the best DB game, but I recognize that DBX2 is much superior at all.

I think what they should do is when two ki blast ultimates collide with each other the screen would change to their characters faces looking like they're struggling to keep the beam up while the player either mashes some buttons or does a certain input to win the beam struggle. I think that would be a cool way to integrate beam struggles in xenoverse 2

I was hoping for a Xenoverse 3 at this years E3 that would have things such as Beam struggles and more combos and Super Saiyan Blue transformation and many other things. But .... nope. The new DBZ games looks great though mostly visually. But as someone who has played 2D DBZ games since the Super Butōden series to Hyper Dimension and all the way to Supersonic warriors and Budokai series... I can easily say that the games that closest capture the Dragon ball feeling are games like Tenkaichi 3 and Xenoverse 2. Others will disagree of course. But flying around in a huge map, destroying parts of the enviroment as you clash with your enemies. To me that is a big important factor of the series. I can say however that some games did things better than others. And so far after all these years, we still haven't got that near perfect Dragon ball game. I hope that someday a company similar to rocksteady who created the near perfect Batman games, will come to create the near perfect Dragon ball game.
