@shortiepie1998 At the end of the Buu saga, they actually were. Vegeta officially accepted that Goku was better than him. It's quite a good scene actually, and it really showed that Vegeta's character really changed quite drastically over the course of the Buu saga. This scene really did happen after he killed Kid Buu.
