But you forgot Budokai Tenkaichi, Budokai, outside of cutscenes even Raging Blast had moves that were cinematic and I’m including Raging Blast and saying “moves” because it doesn’t have a story mode and even that as well as all of these things I mentioned were infinitely way better than Ultimate Tenkaichi the difference is quite literally night and day

@@ihavenonamestilldonthaveon8970 You say that but I’ve also still met a lot of people and have seen a lot more who talk about how much they actually love stuff like if it’s not drawn out for too long like Kakarot it’s cutscenes are still long of course but it was kind of expected since it was going to be another Dragon Ball game retelling the entire story of Dragon Ball Z with Ultimate Tenkaichi I actually wouldn’t have minded the quick time events as much if the entire game wasn’t filled with quick time events it basically makes up for me 100% of the games core gameplay Edit: I also forgot to mention Ultimate Tenkaichi’s quick time events were horrendous also for the fact that if you were under levelled in a fight against any giant enemies like Great Apes the window for the quick time events would be a lot faster making it unnecessarily harder than it needs to be to fight any of the giant boss enemies combine that with the fact that the entire combat system is also one big quick time event that’s based on chance and it’s by far one of the worst combat systems of any Dragon Ball game ever but it at least has better visuals than the Budokai and Budokai Tenkaichi series not so sure about Raging Blast but if anyone’s going to say it looks better than anything from the Xenoverse games I’d have to strongly disagree for multiple good reasons

The core gameplay was trash. Once you were locked into a combo you couldn't really do anything despite button mashing your heart out like it says to on the screen. The QTE events in the story mode were also just abysmal sometimes

Then I just move my wrist back and forth until I'm finished.

I love QTE. That’s why Asura’s Wrath, MGR Revengeance, Insomniac Spider-Man are on my list of all time fav games. I love it in the Storm games too and this is what made me so mad when it wasn’t put in the Kakarot game. It’s like Cyberconnect, seriously. That is your bread and butter and you leave that out for a DBZ game. It was the main reason I wanted for CC2, for years to make a DB game. Those gorgeous cutscenes in Kakarot should’ve been QTE without question.

Because the quick time events in storm games and usually a lot of games weren’t complete trash that was randomly generated and if your character was under levelled you’d have to power up more than a few levels which would take hours to do with how slow the levelling is in the game and on top of that what’s worse is your button inputs for the quick times are affected if your character is under levelled meaning if you’re too weak your quick time event will be a lot faster than it would be if you were a lot stronger

I remember having to call my older brother to help me with the button mashing parts (specifically Baby, that one gave me nightmares) but he kept getting annoyed. I'd call him less and less until I was able to do it myself. Eventually I became a god among my friends in this game. None of them stood a chance. I welcomed beam clashes and had the biggest grin on my face everytime we started one.

@@urfavguy Maybe not the Ultimate Tenkaichi cutscenes, but the artstyle itself and models are much nicer to look at, and Burst Limit gives XenoVerse a genuine run for it's money in the cutscene department, voice acting wise as well. Obviously Kakarot does it the best, but that goes without saying.

That's literally what the game wants you to do. It wants to show you how hard it was for the character to escape that kind of grab / attack. I didn't have a broken controller but I always had to use the index with the ape Vegeta hand grab. With the others it wasn't the same thought. I still loves them
