First time i bought Dragonbane was in the 80s. :D yeah i am that old. i also bought Mutant which was published by the same company Äventyrsspel (Adventure Games), their Ereb Altor world was fabtastic. Drakar & Demoner was the swedish name (Dragon & Demons in english).

I love this game; we have a very enjoyable campaign underway. One thing that still tickles my brain about character generation is the Profession's Key Attribute, CHA for you Bard. I'm not sure whether the highest value should be assigned to that Key Attribute. Also, the minimum skill level requirement for Heroic Abilities doesn't apply to the character's initial Ability.

It’s a great game. Solo rules could do with some love but it’s a very fun system.

This is probably a bit late for your campaign, but the 'little reed thing' you're thinking of might be a swazzle. They're usually used to produce the voice of Mr Punch.

One thing I like with the new setting i Dragonbane which is changed from the 80´s version is that Orcs and goblins etc are a bit different. They are not the mindless canonfodder anymore. They have a history and are more like ... people? for lack of better word :). I solo a DB campaign mysdel and I play three nightkin (2 orcs, 1 goblin) venturing down the rift in search for a Dwarven merchant that is supposed to know the secret location of a Dwarven mine that roumor has it contains the answer to Nightkins future (the Orc shaman leading the group is a bit nutty but he has convinced hos companions to join him in his quest).

Just a note - heroic abilities don't require skill levels to activate them; they have requisite skill levels in order to learn them. Notably, you ignore these requirements if you're receiving a heroic ability from your starting profession (page 26). So, Quackbane doesn't actually require any level of skill in Perform in order to use the Musician heroic ability since his starting profession is Bard :)

Ah that makes more sense but it wasn’t very clear in the book. For example if there was a paragraph with what you just said now that would have been clearer 😁 which is likely the cue for you to say yes there is and send a page number 😂

Very Nice, but please remove the background music as at least for me it is very distrakting.

Ah you can’t please them all 😁 thank you. It’s one of those things I’ve had some people insist and some say no. Maybe I’ll try fading it down more.

I see what you mean the audio in the background music is slightly too high. The only way to do that now is I push up a new video. I'll make sure its faded down in future ... sorry :(

:D it was in fact a Bird Whistle---Also know as a prairie whistle, swiss bird warbler, double throat whistle or a ventriloquist reed. (or so GPT says) thats what I was thinking of BUT I don't have one so not sure I could get a daffy duck like sound out of one :D but thank you a kazoo would do it too

Depends what you mean. A human wrote the music, a human did 50% of the animation, a human put it together, a human decided what was going to be animated…. So really it depends what you mean. Thank you for your watch time and your subscription.
