Dragonflight Arms Warrior PvP Guide (Unhinged/Crit) - World of Warcraft 10.0.2 Build Update

Great stuff man, coming from an Arms over Fury Warrior myself; I just prefer the challenge lol. But ANYWHO, I just don't know why all my fellow Warrior's, are not raising hell about the Animation Mechanic's of (Execute). It's an "Instant" cast. BUT with the lag of the Animation, the duration of when you click the button for Execute to when it actually hits the target. It's more like an 1sec cast which isn't so "Instant". Other abilities don't have this animation lag. We need to push Blizz to fix this to make it a fair playing field across the board. Fellow Warrior's unite!

Its the condemn animation from the 35% execute talent. Dont take that talent it feels like a dps loss because of the delay. I always hated condemn.

@@danielortner5079 exactly my dude, war breaker is another one but with the 8 yrd radius ppl seem not to mind because the target has a higher chance of being hit with it within the radius but I think this animation needs to be reworked as well.

Than he will be telling everyone his arena tactic’s and he will be super readable for his enemies and he needs to change his way of play so yeah arena is all about outplaying and placement and you only got a few shots or plays to make so yeah wouldn’t be an great idea for him tho but that’s my opinion about why he didn’t include rota and plays 😅😂

For the frothing berserker talent , a good rage dump would be a fist punch with the sword's guard . Rage punch or smthn

i think arms is a nice spec after the buffs, it has a very strong burst build and a decent bleed build, and that talent that gives 10% max hp per parry it's insane agains't any melee class, besides we also can pick up a point in impending victory to get 30% max hp every 30s and bitter imunity that gives 20% max hp and cleanse all debuff(it's insane agains't assa rogues, unh dk and warlocks).

I can even see Arms having Ignore Pain fit into the fantasy. I mean c'mon, Fury is numb to the pain because he's so furious but the arms warrior anticipates the incoming blow, clenches his teeth and ignores the pain.

Pro tip: From my experience, Unhinged pops out the 2 MS on the *SECOND* and *FOURTH* hits from Bladestorm, so you should be able to safely cancel Bladestorm and return to your rotation normally after the 4th hit.

Speaking of ignore pain, arms is getting it back in the next patch this season. And it's along considerable buffs to arms talents. Some 2 pointer talents that are must picks, will become 1 pointers for same value. And on top of that, arms gets new talents that seem insane for PvP. All these changes, along nerfs to other specs. It will make arms S tier, if not just the best dps spec in the game. Arms already has absolutely insane burst, pressure, and utility. It only lacks in the ability to soak damage. But next patch, ignore pain will provide arms with the ability to do just that, while it also has significant self healing from impending victory, bitter immunity, and pain and gain.

i was extremely salty when i noticed that ignore pain was removed, for arms and fury it was a very good ability to stay longer in the game without stressing your healer, since fury doesnt have die by the sword it was very useful since alot of classes have that mortal would and making enraged regeneration very bad if not useless sometimes, using that 2 min cd just for that 30% dmg reduction

What if you took 1 into Critical Thinking and then put 1 into Executioner's Precision. That would make your double HS from bladestorm do way more single target damage over your 1% crit IMO. Get a juicy double Execute proc then just BS.

You shouldnt really rely on anything from the ptr. the ptr is just for testing and not accurate. probably a lot of bugs and unbalanced abilities.

The D stance nerf was the wrong way to nerf it imo. Instead of nerfing the damage reduction, so that it almost doesn't matter if you press it, they should've increased the damage done penalty. This makes it so that you can't just braindead sit in D stance, while keeping it as a meaningful button, so that it rewards players who can correctly assess the game.

Is arms more gear reliant than fury? I’ve been following this guide as well as many others and hit like an absolute wet noodle. I have 2 pieces of conq gear, splitting crit/haste about 70/20 with 10% of gear having mastery. Fury does more but is just so brain dead to play
