Great video! Im looking to ad rear speakers to my 08 electra glide classic. It only came with fronts. Is there plug n play harness i can use ? I got a tour pack of a newer bike with quick detach speakers..but need to get it plugged in. Or should i just get a new head unit ? Thanks in advance, keep up the great work 🤘🏁

I have disconnected the battery on my 08 Ultra Classic and run power through the speaker wires and can't find the other ends. The radio comes on and the speaker wires are charged but do not go to the speakers. Haven't been able to find any output. I have feeling I will have to disconnect the tank headset system and others

you removed two connections from the back of the harley radio but only plugged in 1 to the aquatic radio, where does the other one go?

+gilbert joines The other plug fro the ultra does not get used as this radio does not accommodate the intercom, and CB features.

i have Aquatic AQ-MP -5UBT-H headunit. Im thinkn about using Rockville RXN-S6 6 channel amp. I need help wiring speakers. The speakers i have Rockford Fosgate P165S -6.5, Audiopipe-ATQ 1550 1" Aluminum Tweeter. I was thinking to put them in front fairing Rockford Fosgate PPS4-6 6"MID in my speaker lids. Rockford Fosgate putting 2 -P2D2-8 8" SUB in saddlebag on a template, and another pr. P2D2 -8 " SUB in tour lid. I need help with wiring the speakers in series or parallel. Im wanting to run everything in 2ohm's. I would appreciate any advice to hook this system I have up. If its not rite just tell me how u would. I thank you for your time

Well I will say this video is nice to instruct you on how to remove the outer shell of your fairing.. however if you notice they cut out both times when the second allen head bolt is to be removed from the stock head unit prior to removing it! I can tell you from personal experience that the reasoning behind this is.. its far from being a breeze!! as with a lot of parts of this kind, the 2 bolts on the inner side of the head unit are a pain in the back side to get out...oh and incase you wouldn't have assumed it ...they are even more of a pain to reinstall! it can be done...don't get me wrong and based on the initial install I would say its appears to be worth the struggle...(meaning I haven't road tested the unit) but prepare yourself for a little bit of a hassle! I would like to think maybe I was missing a special tool that would have made this an easier process.. but im not sure what would have fit in this space to make it work better!! liking the sound as it sits...just wish they could have made the install a little more realistic rather than saying it was so simple!!

Sara Hultz A ball socket Allen is what we use. We did not design Harleys fairing. With the proper tool we are start to finish 15 minutes for the entire install a radio.

I commented back and mentioned that this was posted by me Eric Andrews...didn't realize my wife was still logged on...but maybe that's what would have made it easier! trying to get the bolts back in was a complete pain....honestly I blame this mainly on hd...there were obvious options they had to make it much easier to get to the bolt and however left it as a struggle! was able to get them in but it was honestly a pain. have yet to have the availability to road test it..however based on the initial test of the unit it appears to be a good choice!! thank you for your response!!

I have the factory sirius xm mogul which plugs into the secondary harness that you never used. its not only used for the CB unit. I believe it also links the factory amps that come on the CVO ultra classics like mine. I want to use my satellite mogul that was installed with the harmon kardon radio as well as the factory installed amp that mounts under the tour pak. can you explain how that's done?

I have a handlebar mounted harley mp3 player that connects to the stock radio trough the auxiliary jack. Will I still be able to use this device seeing that the Aquatic radio only has an auxiliary jack under the face plate?

It has not, the two circuits are unrelated unless you pinched something while in the fairing

Rodney Wilson no. I installed 2 focal 6.5 and a 2ch focal amp. Super load. I can hear it at 80 just fine

+Malcolm Todd There is an additional rear speaker plug coming out of the radio. Refer to instruction manual for exact details.

I just wired in my rear speakers. The kit comes with a speaker adapter for the rear, you will have to splice in the color coded wires from the leftover 32 pin harness, fairly straight forward, although I had to really guess on the wire color pairings because they weren't an exact match. Now I discovered one of the rear speakers sounds like a McDonalds cup. a good excuse for an all round upgrade.

Hay they forgot to tell you that you need a telescope to read the dam instructions.tried blowing up the manual but now can't read wireing diagram.color don't match at all.and now my 2003 ultra is sitting in my garage and is very kissed off.so much for plug and play,no power at all.can you help. The screen is completely useless in daylight. Loss of AVC is huge pain in the ass. I also lost the ability to scroll thru preset stations.

if it don't have clock your odometer can be a clock when after market radio is installed scroll through speedo till 12:00 comes up hold to choose 12 or 24 hr hold to set hour then min work on my 2011 ulta flhtk
