This is a super helpful guide on the specifics of sailing a trimaran. I haven't found anything similar on KZbin to date.

Love the video!! Maybe, I should be embarrassed to admit how much I learned by watching , but now in my 3rd year of owning a DF 28, I am ready to go faster!! Thanks Jens, Peter and team!

Excellent video with exactly the amount of details (from the experts) that we need to get the best out of our (recently bought) 920 Extreme. Compliments and many thanks to Jens and Peter Quorning and looking forward to see the other chapters.

Thanks a lot! I had to learn it by doing and i came to the same conclusions in most tasks. After some failed tacks I changed the procedure: When I sail single handed right before tacking I move the traveller car a bit to windward (I know I should not do this) this means after the tack the main is a bit more open and I have time to trim the jib.

In a stiff breeze with the main sheeted in quite tight, I found that tacking resulted in an automatic tack back LOL very frustrating. The main was powering into the wind before the jib could balance. The problem was resolved by easing the main a touch before tacking. Glad to see this recommended in the video! Anyone else had auto-tack issues?

In flat seas it's normally fine but with any chop we struggle without backing the jib. One area that would have been useful to see what the actual positions of the jib cars as I can tell from the video that I've had my cars at the back position as default which is evidently keeping the jib too flat.

What are your thoughts on putting sealant in the staylock fitting. I’ve heard arguments against it and for it.

I wonder how things change if you have a traveler

The trimaran is traveling so fast that there is no wind sound and you can understand every word despite the accent.

Of course, but there is only English, in automatic translation. On certain channels, there are possible submissions in several languages. Sailing Frenchmann, Sailing Brick House ... Thank you just that I lose the thread when it's going too fast😉

Do more of these or have someone who owns a 35 make this type of video. It will get mmore people interested in your boats.

You put the cunnigham in and the boat speed went up by almost 1 knot. It's amazing how responsive this boat is! Well done.
