I am a kite foiler and looking for some water time when there is no wind. I am not ready for down winding but I want to learn to foil waves. Would the KT Ginxu Dragonfly Surf Carbon be a good choice. to learn wave foiling? I was thinking of pairing it with a lift 170 High aspect wing.

Yes! Some of the best training to learn how to downwind comes from first learning how to SUP or prone paddle into waves since it gives you a mix between the flatwater paddling, finding stability on the board, and the ability to catch waves out the back before they're even close to breaking.

How's the build quality on these? I had a Quatro Wing Drifter that started cracking everywhere around the sharp edges, I'm assuming quite aggressive sanding made those edges weaker and over time cracked.. I hope they worked on build quality because the shapes look amazing indeed.
