Ngl Gallagher was the reason why I stop mid-quitting (yk the point where you just need to press yes on the uninstall pop-up) not because of his physical appearance but because he's zadd- I mean his broken kit. Indeed these two are bonkers. Sp generation, sustain, speed and break buffs (HMC), and ult regen from breaks. My best team would be HMC and Gallagher, Boothill and Firefly which both have the same relics and planar sets coz yk firefly gives fire weakness and in turn boothill would benefit on that planar set. But since I don't have firefly yet, acheron would do her job (weakness break).

One option that i use instead of firefly is Xueyi or Himeko, both work very well on a super break team ( and yeah he's our zaddy 😍🤤 )

I'll just say from my personal experience that for Trailblazer Break Effect rope tends to be better than an ERR rope (context: mine is at E6 and on Memories S3/Watchmaker/Talia) because WOW is it easy to get energy on them! Every now and again I get a fight where something goes wrong and I can't get energy back, but I usually have all my energy back on Trailblazer's second turn, meaning they still have a turn of their ultimate still left. I usually just cast it then, since then I put the watchmaker buff back up All this to say it really is crazy how good the MC is in this game

I built my Gallagher as an SP bot for firefly. He's relying purely on HMC and Ruan Mei for break effect cause he just has 60% himself. But he makes up for it with 175 speed and the Multiply lightcone, allowing for a LOT of personal turns.

@@jonathanlofton2990 man KZbin needs to work on comment notifs. 🫠 I gave him the pieces that rolled the most speed, plus 2pc SPD AND the 2pc planar set. It meant having to give up mostly all other stats tho.

The biggest weakness of Superbreak teams is how easy is to make them completely useless. Just introduce a boss that constantly locks his toughness bar and voila. This is the worst team in the game. And i'm pretty sure they are gonna do it in the future. Coz no way they allow this type of teams just faceroll through everything with no effort.

I DO think they’ll be less avoidant of doing this in the future so as to introduce a natural sense of powercreep over time, but I don’t think they’ll do it so often that superbreak has prolonged periods of uselessness. because as it stands already, most DPS characters for superbreak don’t have the luxury of implanting weakness anyway, so if their element doesn’t match up with weakness, it’s already a gg go next. But I do think that over time we’ll (as usual) see more content pushing away from this meta as Hoyoverse introduces new metas or new characters to make us feel the need to re-strengthen this team archetype, etc, etc. for several months though, it’s been superbreak’s world, and I loooove it :)

I have been maining Firefly/RuanMei/MC/Gallagher team since Firefly release, honestly if I have to replace one character on this team it would be RuanMei, thats how irreplaceable MC and Gallagher are, kinda insane.

Same except I don’t have Ruan Mei so I had to get creative in the 4th teammate so I use March 7th hunt. If they ever release a new super break enabler, I’d just use them with my team replacing March and the team would be insane.

Err no the 50 weakness break efficency is too good hmc first to go as all u would need is another person who enables super break dmg and do a little bit more whereas weakness break efficency is rare

@dragonflymarcus yeah no, if actually use your brain you can see that he isn't strong but he is good. He's better than natasha, on par with lynx on their respective teams yet gets completely outshined by hou hou, loucha and shit even bailu. So no gallagher isn't very strong he's just good.

@omensoffate no I'm definitely not. Let me give you an example. In break teams gallagher is good because he benefits from building break effect and breaking the enemy. Just like how in a clara team lynx is good because she can increase the chance of the enemy targeting her. Which proves that im not wrong. In an acheron team gallagher is decent because of his debuffs but damn sure isn't the best pick. While in other teams lynx is good but far from the best. The 1 team that gallagher and lynx are interchangeable is with arlan since lynx can make arlan get hit more and gallagher can heal him with his ult everytime arlan hits the enemy who has the debuff on (and no I don't run a shielder him nor would I honestly recommend it). The only support left in the dust is natasha even though she's decent she lacks the power that the others have. Thus proving my point.

to be fair, having firefly wouldnt necessariiiiilllllyyyyyyyyy do much more for you in pure fiction than a herta follow-up team would, unless you have insane investment + constellations on firefly, but EVEN then, much of the time, hoyo slips in augments that benefit follow up teams and herta teams more than most limited characters that isn't to say firefly isn't functional in pure fiction by any means, she's def good, but ... just build a herta team for your second pure fiction heeheehee

@dragonflymarcus Ahhh, gotcha, that makes sense. I've built a pretty decent Herta team, but that's with Himeko as the main DPS, and that pretty much relegates the team to enemies that are ice or fire weak. Is there someone I could use in place of Himeko that'd work better?

​​@@claykeaa Jade, her and Herta are CRACKED together in PF, Clara ana Yunli are pretty good options for the current PF cycle. You could also just replace Himeko with another harmony unit to buff Herta
