I watched it live and Kanami is such an airhead, it´s so funny... Really adorable and MIKU the bubbly person like always. Really cool from Herman, he is the most humble and funniest guy i know in this business and isn´t taking himself too serious which is a very good ability in my book.

Kanami is quiet with a cute voice when talking, but I love the fact that he transforms into a wild beast the moment he starts playing the guitar. The appearance of Kanami playing in every song feels sexy.

I am not really a Dragonforce fan but Herman was a really awesome host. He was very cool and was a real gentleman. The girls of course were their charming selves. Kanami is the most adorable person! She is like a little kid when she gets excited. I love their energy and spirit.

He's worked with Baby Metal, Love Bites. He's to do something with BM. Oooh, I take in Kanami, I'm a Kanami fan. Besides Hermans not as cute. Herman has a wind machine pedal, hah . Kanami needs a fan :) I love Band Maid. Love japanese bands, and Herman. Kanami is shy, and so unassuming, and humble. Put a PRS custom 24 in her hands, on stage and wow. They are to do a song with herman, per discord. Can't wait for them to do the song. And Herman to work with Nemophila. Herman playing with Saki and Hazuki, would be incredible. Nemophila has their virtual show overnight, can't wait. Band Maid and Nemophila, and Herman doing so much in past year with YT, doing all they can for their fans, I love it so much.

This was great, as you said Herman Li came in a little later and all three flowed as one. Out of the three Miku would be the lesser of the three, Miku has only been playing the guitar about 7 yrs. Miku started the band as the lead singer, but she said her voice wasn't cool enough and brought in Saiki. Kanami became Miku's guitar teacher (seince) early on and Miku seems to be getting better and better under Kanami tutoring. Thank you JUST JEN, it was a great and fun reaction.

Kobato Miku is an intelligent and compassionate woman. She always smiled in interviews and tried to make it easier to answer Kanami. Members of BAND MAID say that Miku is the most in-law. She also feels like the mother of a band that cares about the members.

Loved seeing them playing "without holding back".. such a great instrumental. Was so great joining the stream. I saw him on 6 hours before because of some rumours so i asked him if it was true. He and chat confirmed. Then i said: "i know u got a PRS (as Kanami), but do u have a Zemaitis (as Miku)?" So he went to the back of the room. And brought one. Played a little. Sadly not on the stream. But i kind of understand since the tones are alike.

This was so fun to watch. Everyone seemed to enjoy that. Just seeing how the girls act and talk and laugh... you would never think they are in the most butt kicking band that’s currently sitting on top of the hard rock world. I love how Herman has fun with stuff like this. Now Dragonforce and Bandmaid would be awesome but I think Dragonforce and Lovebites would be world blowing. Those bands are similar and the speed shredding would melt the sky. 🤟🏻

They do all kinds of cool stuff on his Twitch, he and Sam (the other guitarist and main songwriter) writing songs in the style of other bands (Nightwish, Sabaton, and others), special guests like Elize from Amaranthe (singing on the song they wrote in Amaranthe style).

I was thinking that Herman was listening to where the song was going before he started playing as I doubt that he got to hear what they were gonna have him play. It would be an amazing if they were on the same bill. It would be great to watch them jam on something that they had worked out in advance.

I think this might foreshadow what is to come. Herman and Sam both played the guitar audio backing for Babymetal's Road of Resistance. Unlike Babymetal where content is tightly controlled by Amuse, I think a Band-Maid and DragonForce collab would allow more artistic freedom.

Girls are so Kawaii but damn they are all business when it comes to playing. Kanami also mentioned something about having to break her last record of 230. I would prefer see Dragonforce with lovebites to be honest. Band-Maid would be better play with someone like the Foo Fighters or Red Hot Chilli Peppers or even the Flogging Molly :p (Offsprings ?)

We can agree to disagree here. I think DragonForce and Lovebytes have a lot of similarities but that is the exact reason why a collab could have the potential to end up boring or underwhelming. Good collabs create something unique by fusing two distinct but related sounds and I think Band-Maid would be perfect for that. Both DragonForce and Band-Maid would have to experiment out of their comfort zone. I don't think any of the bands you listed are really a good fit for Band-Maid anyway.
