Thanks for giving such a detailed review. My machine broke and I am a creature of habit. I am a cosmetic tattoo artist but I also do fine line and I dropped my favorite machines HARD and broke this morning and refuse to use my back ups since their strike length is too short for what I’m doing tomorrow and I immediately ordered the fold pro because of the stroke flexibility but I forgot to watch a review video before I purchased. So I’m waiting yours before it comes in in the morning and I’m glad I did. It gave me so much peace of mind. Appreciate you!

Drawgonhawk is such a solid brand I really did love the Xtreme by them it was very good to me. This Mast Fold Pro is absolutely insane! The dragon artwork was such a nice addition to the box and the shirt was super cool! Very slick! Especially with the massive dragon graphic! I love that it comes with two batteries as well as an RCA adapter! Two grips is pretty awesome too! The machine itself is an absolutely thing of beauty! I am so impressed with how nice it looks from color to the almost bamboo looking body design! I am also BLOWN AWAY that it can run at 4v and silently at 12v! That is pretty nuts! And the magnetic battery attachment mechanism is pretty neat! I will have to look into the 2024 Fold Pro especially with the year of the dragon look as it is awesome! Hey Daniel just wanted to inform you that the Input Voltage at 11:05 you were talking about is with what voltage you can charge the machine with. Most chargers have 5V but you could also have some which go up to 12V (or even above so you shouldnt charge it with those). So that is just with what Voltage you should charge it. Understandable that it might be read wrong for the Voltage output the machine makes. Btw Love your vids and keep up the good work :)

Hi Daniel. What disposable grips can you use for this please. Also, when you wrap the machine the stroke section isn't wrapped. is that ok to leave exposed. Newbie question here. Thanks

Vom Hygiene Punkt aus sollte die ganze Maschine eingepackt sein. Stichwort Kreuz Kontamination, auch wenn man die Maschine vorher ordentlich desinfiziert hat ist es einfach sicherer. Ich habe die Fold Pro und die pack ich in 2 Pen Hüllen die erste kommt dabei von hinten über den Akku und wird vor zum Griffstück (welches noch nicht drauf ist) gezogen und wenn nötig mit Klebeband fest gemacht. Dann das Griffstück darüber und fest drehen, dann nur noch klassisch von vorne die Hülle rauf. Mann kann so die Tiefe einstellen und auch wenn ein wenig fummelig den Hub. Aber die Maschine ist sauber verpackt. Und Nein, es gibt zurzeit noch keine passenden Einweg Griffstücke für die Dragonhawk Fold Modelle.

I have the same ambition machine. Freaking love it. I started on a step pedal dragon hawk, then got a mast machine.. I started with those two honestly because I didn’t know much about machines and they were in the $100 ish range. Once I knew what I wanted from the machine I looked up a bunch of reviews on my ambition 4.0 solider *green* and it’s amazing.

Can you easily take it apart for deep cleaning?

We can take it apart to wipe it down with cold sterilization wipes. We can not access the electrical components, so the top of the machine can not be deep cleaned because we can compromise the machines functionality.

It says input voltage on the parameters portion of the user manual, not output voltage. So that might be why you're able to turn the batteries output voltage to 4 V... Perhaps its referring to the range of voltage provided by the charger block you use to charge the batteries that are acceptable.

Just got this machine today. Did anybody else buy this and receive it with no peel off protection on the led screen? I'm getting the feeling I possibly got somebody's send back here, even though the package was all vinyl wrapped and security tagged.

Just got my fold pro - not the Dragon edition. Daniel I would love to hear your thoughts on the weight and feel of the two in comparison… there seem to be differing dimensions of the dragon edition vs the standard pro … I found that the regular pro’s weight rests a little high above my hand for keeping great control for me, but the dragon version looks more stout? Can you comment to this and if you felt any more comfortable with the weight of the dragon version versus the slightly taller regular pro model. What’s your feelings on it? Did you get the fold pro or the fold 2 pro the battery is colour display and slightly longer the weight of the yotd and fold pro are identical with the same grip on the chunky grips do add more weight tho

@@butterbob5000 well it will only be the grip that changes the weight if fitted with the same grip the weight is identical you can purchase the other grips from dragonhawk
