Finding Mineru early in the game while just exploring with this music was an absolute delight. Highlight of the game for me.

@antoineboucher9859I had the same feeling. Just thought I’d stumbled across a shrine in the dark, not a main story quest :P but stumbling across the same area early in the depths was the opposite feeling.. a little frustrating because nothing to tell you you need something.

playing this without knowing you could get rid of the storm was so difficult, but the ambience was beautiful

Indeed... The first time I came here, I relied on the Shrine Sensor to find my way around!

Honestly I think it's the cooler way to play it. Fumbling about in the fog, moving slowly so as not to fall off, then stumbling upon the green sparkles of a shrine below you in a seemingly-endless abyss. Mmm, that was one of the rare moments I thought TotK actually managed to surpass the feeling of BotW.

Best location in the Zelda series. I didn't love the story (Demon King? Secret Stone?) but the vastness of this Hyrule was such an absolute pleasure. May start a replay soon.

I love beyond reason both this music and the ambience of this island. It's kind of hard to describe the feeling this gives off; mystery, a hint of melancholy, nostalgia of an era long gone, overwhelming awe, mystery, and tranquility. Truly a wonderful piece.

This was just a cool, stormy landmark for me. I had set my sights on it since the beginning of my play through but imagine my surprise when I noticed that the island had a theme! It also looked more detailed than other islands, and everything made sense when I touched that owl mask... I can't believe that was the way I found out about the Sixth Sage... I fumbled to get to that island, narrowly avoiding thunder, but the tranquil yet desolate environment that greeted me was all the more worth enjoying. Thank you for this video :)

Listening to this ost makes me remember my playthrought of tears of the kingdom. It was rather short compared to other people, it was like 120 hours. But I will always remember that time, skipping main quest entirely and discovering the abyss or when exploring the sky islands, it literally made me drop tears. We need more games with worlds like these, such an amazing ost and visuals. Before, and still Nier has been my chill place listening to that incredible ost by Keichii Okabe and many times which I have opened the game only to wander around, walking, doing nothing, simply being there and now zelda totk has become my other kinda meditating game. Hope my exams finish soon, I am studying while listening to this. I was playing through Yakuza saga before exams started, and I can't wait to continue playing.

It is funny because I found this place when I was supossed to, but just exploring. I knew i was supossed to go to kakariko and that would trigger a quest, but I just wanted to explore before going to the last Temple, and I havent explored yet that area, so i go directly to dragon head island and just landing Mineru called me.

I feel sorry vor mineru... First her sister-in-law is murdered then she had to watch her brother rauru sacrefice himself vor hyrule and there was nothing mineru could do as she was being affected by malice herself. As if that wasn't anough, she died herselfe and placed her spirit in a tablet, all because of a single man named ganondorf who was lusting after power.
