This video shows some of what's possible in the latest DragonOS Focal R17 with the help of the versatile RTL-SDR and several preinstalled applications.
If you're just getting into Software Defined Radios, then the RTL-SDR is a great way to get involved. I figure I'll do a couple videos on various applications and new features before going into some advanced use cases on each one.
First up is SDR4space. It's a powerful SDR Javascript Virtual machine that can run various tasks with the RTL-SDR to survey the electromagnetic spectrum and perform numerous other automated tasks. I cover just a couple examples in this video. More detailed information can be found here,

SDR++ just hit the 1.0.0 release and with it comes a bunch of new features, not to mention its wide range of SDR support. Truly incredible software capable of so much. In this video I show how to setup a spy server on another machine and then how to connect to it with SDR++, which as far as I know was previously only possible with SDR Sharp on Windows.
I also show a quick way to setup a virtual audio cable which can be selected in SDR++ and be used to send audio over to WSJT-X. I'll take a look at using it's network audio sink here in the near future as well as highlight some of it's other great features. More information on SDR++ is available here,

SigDigger has also been upgraded in the latest DragonOS Focal and now has the ability to perform all DSP on a remote machine while sending the information over the network to be accessible by a local instance of SigDigger. Multiple SDRs can then be setup with different profiles to be accessed outside a local network. I expect many new features to be added to SigDigger to take advantage of this new capability.
