that is just a misconception that people who have money to enjoy luxury also want to waste resources. Smart Home lights and stuff are also expensive but in return they do save electricity by automatically dimming or turning off when not needed. Doesn't mean people buying them don't care about electricity or it's consumption.

well, tell us about it. can your water heater keep up with it? How expensive was the labor to have it installed? How long did it take to remodel the bathroom to put it in?

It’s very unnecessary. Why you ask? Well think about some hacker hacking your morning/evening shower. I do not want one soul touching my shower or better yet change the temp while I’m in it.
