Reshade makes the game look 10x better. The performance mods make the game run 10x better. I didn’t let steam even update because the game looks and runs phenomenal for me on ultra settings 2k. I had a couple crashes day one but since it’s been fine. Mods can also add any of the micro transactions they are shamelessly trying to sell if people are curious.

Yeah been looking into some of the first mods for the game, incredible work so far, I have to backup the files and test them out.

@@LastKnownMeal I’m always impressed with the modding community. Main reason why PC gaming is the only way for me. Also. There’s a mod for backing up saves and character profiles. Works flawlessly. 👍🏼

I may have to roll mine back. (I backed up the original game install before update). It went from almost no ceashes to PC hard locking..

Got it on series x and appreciate the heads up there LKM. I haven’t had a single crash as of yet, and the frame rate in the cities is noticeable but not terrible enough that it breaks my immersion. I will be curious to see if I get any crashes now after this update, which is concerning but glad you mentioned that. 👍

So if i go new game (with erasing my old save) am i able to create a new character and a pawn with no gear and start from level 1?

For me personally I only got the quest for my first house after I already did a quest for the commander and then did some other quests in the world. Then someday the woman npc appeared and talked to me if I could watch over her home and after that sold it to me. Maybe I didnt meet certain conditions for the quest to appear and maybe the devs reduced said conditions. idk its still not really necessary to change but why not I guess.

I'm soft locked on the archer trial quest, I killed the ogre but it fell on top dudes sister so now I can't pick her up

With any luck the next patch will add the toggle for fsr3 frame generation I still don't understand why its not present, seems strange. Overall the game runs quite well on my PC so I'm happy I can play it.

I’m on Xbox I haven’t noticed crashing before or after nor have I had frame rate issues. But that’s just me. I hope they add multiple character slots.

DLSS for me has improved by 8-10 frames using a 3080 10gb.

Nope, as you can see during benchmarks I show latest gameplay and npcs are appearing

Dang, no bug fixes? Been stuck on sorcerer maister quest with the little girl, Grandma disappeared and quest wont progress, guess I'll have to check the morgue smh

need a free floating drone camera for photo mode need to turn off stupid high 5ing, some pawns dont even fight as i battle multiple enemies on my own and i run to heal with 1% health while multiple monsters chase me about to kill me and a stupid pawn wants to stop me and lock me into a high 5, so i throw them off a cliff or in the ocean to the brine

if u didnt know: Cappint the fps with msi will result in a PERFECT frametime, absolut clear also the fg-mods just simply double all your frames....works very well on 4000er cards soo now u know.. Also i hope they make enemies stronger soon since after lvl 50 it gets truly to easy if it isnt a dragon and also ng+ does not make enemies stronger which makes no sense...since were high lvl, high gear, high exp..

I find that it improves framerate if u have it on the “variable” setting with RT turned off

Yes with unlocked frame rate! Turn of ray racing and motion blur and the game looks amazing. I played before the update and now it is completely different!

The game is too easy now that I’m level 50 I haven’t beat it but most monster encounters have become kinda tedious at this point because they’re too easy

If they ever do. If it took them this long to release such a minor patch, imagine fixing major performance and gameplay issues? I have low hopes that DD2 will evolve much more than the current state, specially for the fact that DD2 isn't a live service game or competitive such as SF.

Absolutely fair to do that with your money especially considering the price, it's definitely about what tolerance people have to frames or if they want most out of it from their machines. Hopefully they patch everything out with these next updates.
