I can shed some light on the dragons and cars thing: The first 'famous' picture of this was by the artist known variously as Omega Ltd or John Martello. Not that he is in to such things himself, but he does commissions* and someone asked for it. It's a set of two pictures, and the content was sufficiently unusual that it became a joke and the inspiration for others to copy the idea just for being so outlandish. *I understand he is more than a little annoyed that he is always drawing uncultured smut, but that's what pays the most and he needs the money.

As far is Rotten Fur stuff it’s more or less kinda true. I’m sexually into some pretty horrid shit (HEAVY gore, death, amputation, drugging, non-con, dub-con, etc) but I straight up wouldn’t harm anyone beyond some semi-rough knifeplay + biting until bleeding and I’d only do that with a person very experienced with it and we would have to establish safe words and safe gestures and everything. I’m so into not hurting things that I don’t eat meat and I’ve convinced many others to stop as well, since I think it’s harmful. I’m, from what I’m told which I think is the best metric, a pretty fair and nice person. I just kinda have some super taboo kinks that are nice to indulge in art-wise. Would I get off if someone took a finger or two of mine? Probably, the adrenaline would surely make it fun. But I still wouldn’t do it IRL. It’s just fun, and as long as I’m not hurting anyone or anything (without consent, and even then not too too much) it shouldn’t matter Sure, it’ll probably mean I get less friends, yeah people will see my favorites on FurAffinity and feel really disgusted but… at the end of the day I am who I am, and I think I like me pretty well.
