He used hero power to break his own weapon, which gives Rush on deathrattle. He had to do that because it still had 2 durability. On a side note, minions like that are great because they lose very little value if affected by secrets such as Snipe, Freezing Trap, Mirror Image etc.

I thought the same but it's actually understandable. He had no good options because his cards in hand other than sprint were; Walk the plank, which he literally couldn't use because all of Kripps minions were damaged/stealthed. Saronite taskmaster, a 2-3 minion. If he just played that from his view he would probably get destroyed for basically passing a turn. Deathknight AOE, which would leave Kripp with a minion on the board still from the deathrattle and that would burn through his deck as fast as if he sprinted. He was clearly wanting to get some useful cards out of his deck before destroying it with AOE, which I don't think was a mistake.

If he didn't have Dragonslayer in his deck, and in his hand, and if he didn't play it when he did, he would have lost 100%, no matter what. So in the end, Dragonslayer turned a 100% loss into a probable win.

Besides stopping the early hoarding dragon play the coins allowed Kripp to clear the Violet Worm and make the Spring Rocket a 6/5 taunt with Bonemare out.

I have to say the dragon slayer turn didn't even win the game, or turn it into a probable win. All it actually did was stop him from losing in "one" particular instance. This video is a bit of an over exagerration. The real reason Kripp actually ended up taking the game was the resources of the RNG legendaries he received. It allowed him to non stop stay in the game while the Rogue blew all his steam to keep them from over whelming him. Had he not RNGd into those cards, Kripp would have lost 100% even with dragonslayer.
