Not sure if anyone has said before, but once you have a rainbow or double rainbow and moon or blue moon dragon in the Rift, you can start mixing and matching these in the breeding cave for _tons_ of different types of dragon. During the bring ‘em back events this also breed limited edition dragons, you don’t have to buy them all from eggs! :3

Excellent video! I've been using this strategy and generally running my park like a business for years, maximizing revenue and now breathing fire with all elders and every other dragon at level 20 besides all the rifty ones. Best DV video I've seen and explains the strategy with no room for misunderstanding!

I used to play dragonvale about 9 years ago and am just now coming back into the game. this video helped understand the rift stuff since its all new to me. and the video is actually well made and entertaining while still being informational. Love the video and I found it very helpful. I have been playing for 7 years and have gone from 40 friends to only 3 of us who still play. Won't stop me though! I didn't like the rift at first because I didn't understand it. This makes it pretty clear. I will add that I have gotten several of my rift dragons by putting them on my wish list. I usually stop breeding at 2500 cost, (because I am impatient), lol. Thank you for the tips. I am sharing your video!!

This is great. It's the strategy I started when the rift came out - and it does take a while to build up, but at the end of the winter event, I was breathing fire - for the first time EVER (after years of playing). Breeding in the rift is a huge help. My rift is a bit more organized that yours, even though it was packed tight - I did it by color, and clustered my habitats in groups of 4. Btw, you did an awesome job making the video, too - great production, fun to watch.

I got the Snowsquall, Wunderspore, and the Voltaic from the Roar of the Rift event and those dragons helped me thrive in the Rift. Without them, I would be stumped.

Etherium generation is key! Try to breed for double rainbow dragons but every dragon helps!

epic dragons generate more etherium, if possible getting two monolith or snowflake dragons is recommended because you can breed more epic dragons constistently

Whoa, whoa, whoa, hold it. First of all on the dragon prices, I KNOW, RIGHT!? It's RIDICULOUS! And otherwise, I thought you were gonna say that the only thing standing in our way...is the park level required to UNLOCK it! I'm still stuck at level 23! I need level 28 to get access to the Rift, and one of my daily prizes a few weeks ago? That just HAD to be a NEOTERIC egg, which I have to wait until level 25, just for them to GIVE IT TO ME! Seriously!? Couldn't it have been, oh I don't know, THE DIAMOND DRAGON!? Or perhaps a dragon, that my park was already at a high enough level to have unlocked!? No! Why would they do THAT? That would be GENEROUS! It's always so hard to get more experience points, just from hatching dragons as well as buying decorations and other stuff. YEESH!
