I love this song! it can be used on many conditions on any game that has heart. My brothers and I have been playing Yugioh since 98' and even though we are now in our mid 30's this game has transcended to me as a pure nostalgic when being a child was to have fun and be good at something and at the same time have respect for one another. Both my brother and I have even taught our wives to play this game that they even beat us! it was awesome seeing that our spouses love this game as much as we do. This game has an even bigger meaning because my youngest brother was the best of 3 boys, he even won championships and even went on pro but that was cut real short when he was in a car accident and now he is bed ridden with brain injury that has left him somewhat paralyzed.. sorry this song and this game to me has more meaning than anything and its more than just a game with cool drawings. My second brother has the Elemental Hero Deck and its suits him because he is a Fire fighter, my youngest brother had junk warriors and Gladiator beast and I will always be Ninja and Samurai. My wife has the Rose and Amazonian deck and my brother's wife has Dragons. Anyways have fun playing this awesome game!

The Yugi vs Joey battle had me so emotionally invested in the fifth grade. I remember writing who will win on my chackboard and being extremely sad at the possibilities. I knew one of then had to win but they both had so much at stake. The lyrics "Were closer than brothers, now we have to fight each other" wrecked me. 😭 I knew how important their friendship was and just seeing them fight was too much. Just wow, so much emotion, I remember watching the episode, I remember everything that they had gone through, especially Joey, from being seen as weak by everyone, being degraded, questioning his own abilities, but now to stand opposite one of the greatest duelist, who just happened to be his best friend, so much here, and like someone said, this could also apply to Yugy and the pharaoh's final dual. as an old-school player, there is just so much here, I still remember dueling to this entire seating at a summer camp, everything hinging on the turn of a card, nothing quite like you calling a game-winning attack, and then your opponent flips a magic cylinder, even better when you're the one activating the magic cylinder, I used to play spellcaster.

If I wrote Battle City: 1) Possessed Joey vs Yugi doesn't happen 2) Joey beats Yami Marik 3) Joey vs Yugi in the finals with Joey planning to give Yugi the Gods regardless. 4) Now Yami Marik possesses Joey and uses magic to keep Kaiba from stopping the Duel. 5) A reprise or at least an instrumental of this plays while Yugi duels Possessed Joey while under the impression that beating Joey will destroy him thanks to the power of the God cards (not true, but let's face it messing with Yugi is the only way to make it difficult for him) 6) Real Marik intervenes to support the pharaoh and tell him Yami Marik was lying 7) Joey snaps out of it, Yugi destroys Yami Marik to win the duel and the show continues as normal. 8) Tristan gets to punch somebody and reminds everyone that he only lost his only duel to save Serenity who needed an AI to tell her what to do.
