Thanks! And I might be wrong, but I think the algorythm prefers longer videos instead, since the focus is on watch time, and the longer the video is, the more watch time it gets, the more it gets pushed. I think the reason might actually be because I don't go for easy picks like the Fazbear Fanverse games, Jolly, Tealerland, FNaF Simulator, Radiance's games (FNaTI 2020 and FNaCEC Rebooted), Animator's Hell etc. If I covered those I'd probably get a fair bit more views, but I don't want to make videos on the games simply because they're popular, and instead cover games because I actually wanted to play them and liked genuinely them (TRTF is kind of an exception tho, to me it's so bad it's good and the series is more infamous rather than famous, so it seems like most people aside from me are scared of even touching it lol). If I only talked about the most popular ones, it'd be like a platforming games' reviewer who only talks about Sonic and Mario. It's predictable and would probably get boring after a while.

Honestly from what I've seen, the game doesn't even seem to have anything that hasn't been done before, it likely got all the popularity from the graphics, which also probably took up like 90% of development lol. This is part of the reason I prefer less professional looking games, they often times dedicate more time to the gameplay instead of visuals.

@@DragoonInferner I wouldn’t say underrated but more so forgotten, a decent chuck of youtubers that played fnaf and its fan games did played FNaW and some of its sequels, since that was very early when fnaf fan games were starting to kick off, it’s kind of noticeable starting with FNaW 4 since unlike the rest of the series which was made in January-summer of 2015, FNaW 4 was released back in like early-mid 2016 and that one is considered underrated within the series I think. It’s probably ended up forgotten due to the long gap without new games and just the community finding new fan games that went big where the developers had new games throughout the span of the community allowing it to stay relevant and the fact people seems to think good graphics = good game, which is expected more and more and that every game need to be something revolutionary or new in the community (the only real expectation to this is the flumpty games but I chalk that up to people remembering the graphics on that and just it being different at the time), so by the time the 2.0 updates and five shows at Wario’s the mainstream community kind of left it to rot beside the people who genuinely loved the series (I think only thing from the mainstream community relating to FNaW as of recent was Kane Carter saying he didn’t found Five Shows at Wario’s fun and thought it was ugly although who knows how far he played in the game) this has seems to happen to other games as well like Five Nights at Sonic’s, TRTF somewhat since generally some big youtubers will look at some remakes but pretty much not remember anything from the original and be so in the unknown with the drama around it, I guess also Tubbyland as well somewhat since remakes exist and has been cover by the mainstream community (a remake of tubbyland 1 mainly) but they don’t really remember the original series and people who even covered the 2.0 update of FNaW don’t even really look into the 2.0 update of Tubbyland 1, oh and I guess Treausre Island to an extent for a period of time, people mainly remember 1.0 and 2.0 and like barely nightmare before Disney as well which is official but not canon and like people don’t know how dig the rabbit hole for fnati goes like how merch was attempted to be sold during 3.0 like shit get weird, maybe not TRTF weird but like weirder then normal.

Yea that's a good way to put it. Treasure island probably was the luckiest, with Radiance blowing its popularity into the stratosphere, while the other series kinda layed dormant for a while. I was taking a break from fnaf around 2016-2020, so I didn't get to exactly see how the community's view and expectations of fangames have shifted, but having even someone like Kane Karter judge FSaW exclusively by the looks speaks volume already (funnily enough he got banned on twitter shortly after, I know it's not actually related to the FSaW tweet and was about some other joke, but still kinda funny). But the shift towards style over substance is definitely showing. You don't even need to make a game that stands out in any way now, just provide some eye candy and for sure some popular youtuber is bound to play it. It's really starting to feel like 70-80% of the time it takes for those more popular fan games to be made is spent just on graphics exclusively lmao. And I don't mind fan games having really good graphics, but the fanbase is starting to feel pretty spoiled now, and anything that's below high quality 3D models or Flumpty's-tier 2D art is frowned upon.

I'd love to, especially with how good the Rebranded games are. Problem is, the developer took down the games due to his fanbase being toxic to him, constantly asking for sequels amongst other things, so I wouldn't feel comfortable making a video about the series, unless I get approval from Jaiden himself, which I likely won't anyway, nor do I wanna bother him about it.
